Hello! I'm Weng and I've been a ~lurker~ of the group for I think more than a year but I've never made any interaction with the group. I was simply enjoying reading the posts here (though it can be overwhelming at times).

I finally decided to have a proper introduction because I want to be a more serious book blogger and put my book hoarding "skills" into something more relevant (Hahahaha ang labo ng mga pinagsasasabi ko). Anyways, I was hoping to meet people who can inspire me to be a better reader. And to make new friends who can I gush about books! After all, the world really isn't ending this month, right? Hi! I'm Jarta and I mostly read MM Romance. I'm a seasoned lurker of the darkest pit of fandoms and fanfics and I found about goodreads when I've read somewhere that a favorite fanfic of mine is highly rated here and I just had to check out the reviews and reactions. I'm not much of an intellectual but reading has always been my hobby that is borderline unhealthy addiction. I've started enjoying reading stories, essays and poems from my English and Filipino textbooks whenever I first got them even before classes start when I was in elementary. Actually, I was basically just trying to read every interesting book I get my hands into, mostly fiction.
I've been reading Noli Me Tangere, El Filibusterismo, Ibong Adarna and a lot of excessively cheesy tagalog romance pocketbooks back when I was in Grade 6. I wasn't very picky back then. Y'know, Harry Potter and various Harlequin-ish romance novels, English and Filipino textbooks, Jose Rizal and a few more respectable books for book reports.
Currently, I'm into gay romance probably because all the Harlequin I managed to borrow from my relative and read got me so bored with the usual hetero ones. Heh. And I'm like, poor/have financial problems so it's just yay free reads and fanfics mostly for me.

Anyway, pardon my rambling. I'm in my talkative mode. But sooner or later, I'll be a hermit again and would barely socialize or talk to anyone here so I'm just taking advantage of this rare moments that I have no shame at all. :P

Hi. I'm Anton. I love reading. I read both in physical (book) and digital (pdf, to be exact) formats... the latter as an option or last resort if I can't find a physical copy of a specific book.

I read a lot of books in various subjects (again, both in pdf and/or physical formats) but, I take a lot of time on humor/comedy books by famous stand-up comedians/scriptwriters like Tina Fey, George Carlin, Bill Maher, and a lot more. I also take time to read books on philosophy, science, art, music, and a lot more (you have the permission to view my reading list. :))

Ako nga po pala si Cedric. 14 years old. I'm currently residing in Manila, studying in a certain school, 2nd year high school. Ano pa ba? Syempre hobby ko, magbasa, kaya ako nandito. :))

Nahilig ako magbasa ng mga novels nung 12 years old na ako (grade 6) at ang una kong novel ay yung Percy Jackson B2 (hindi yung first kasi napanood ko na, and now i regret it). Tapos nun, nagsunood sunod na yung pagbili ko ng libro, hanggang sa ngayon marami rami na rin ang mga libro ko. Madami na rin akong nabiling series.... Karamihan pangchildren pero kumpleto ko na :))

Sa ngayon, nagbago na ang ihip ng hangin at naging favorite ko na ang YA novels, kasi may romance. Kaya po ito nagyari dahil binasa ko ang Fifty Shades Trilogy sa ebook xD. Nagbago na ang pilosopiya ko sa buhay dahil sa librong yun! Hahaha.... :))

Looking forward to bonding with Filipino bookworms! :))

Since the Babysitters' Club and Goosebumps series to Sweet Valley High to HP and now any kind of book I can get my hands on... Like many, there was a time when I had to slow down with reading due to studies and work but I always find my way back.
