[General] Introduce Yourself!
Hi, Ate Kristine! Welcome to the group! Oh I am a huge reader in Wattpad! Hope I can read your stories! :D
Angus: My favorites are FF VII,VIII and X-2, How 'bout you? :) (btw, I thought you were a girl, I had to check your profile just to be sure ^^v)Rollie: I know the feeling. I actually 'used' to write stories almost everyday now I 'rarely' do. I guess somehow, hobbies does change due to certain circumstances. Glad to know you're a gamer too :)
Will: I wouldn't be shocked to meet you, who is a fellow FF fan/gamer since it is such an awesome series. What is/are your favorite installment? :)
Maria Ella: I know, I used to suck at it in my younger years but I grew to love and somehow, rock em! =)) RPGs really are cool and fun and probably that's the reason I love 'em, because of the story behind it.
Abby: Hello, I do post some of my stories on wattpad but don't expect too much about it, you may get disappointed. 2 'em are on-going while the other one is done but it's just a side story. I'm writing another story but it's on hiatus. Actually, all of 'em are on hiatus since I'm not on the mood to continue writing it so it may leave you hanging. I'll send you the link on my page anyways, thank you :)
Thank you guys for the very warm welcome, I just joined up days ago so it feels really nice, we really are one hospitable race :D
hirap magbackread! puuyat! Hello sa mga newbies for the last 2 months!
Hi Kristine, di ako maka-FF. Diablo ang alam ko. Wish ko magkaroon ng Diablo III!
Kristine: I'm a girl. Pa-girl pala, hahaha. Well, not a huge fan of the FF series, but I got to play FF7. My gaming mania lasted only for 2 years, so within that span, I was able to play Breath of Fire 3, Star Ocean 2, Wild Arms (which I never finished), and Star Ocean 2 ulit (I played the game a lot of times using different character combinations, basta).
Ranee: Hello there! Yeah I've heard the Diablo fandom thing, sadly it doesn't seem to catch my interest but I go for WoW :)Angus: Oh so you're "pa-girl", hahaha :). Oh yes Star Ocean, been wishing to play it but can't find a copy and Wild Arms, I've played Wild Arms 3 but I never get to finish it either =))
Kwesi 章英狮: Hello! :D
Is everyone in this group living in the Philippines? Am I an anomaly? I live in Berkeley, CA
Kristine: First played FFVIII. That was my first FF, and yun din ang pinakafavorite ko. Pero di rin nalalayo ang FFIX. :D

Thank you both. I browsed through this group's discussions and they seem livelier and more thoughtful than most. I think I will like it here.

I'm okay. I missed you guys na rin. How are you? When's the next meet up?
Iyah: June 23 next F2F for Fellowship of the Ring :) May time pa magbasa (or panoorin yung movie, pero syempre recommended basahin). Wala pang venue, pero baka Ortigas or Makati daw. Sama ka! :)
Iyah! Balita? Dito ka sa Manila nagwowork, di ba? Paramdam! Tokwa, di pa rin kita namemeet in person :))))))
Ako ay isang chabelitang bata. hahahaha :D Hello guys I've missed you all. :D It's my off. See yah all. :DDD
Tay: Hello kamustah. I'll see you guys soon. Do i need to review The Hobbit before reading LOTR? Louize: hello kamusta? Punta ka sa 23?
Rollie and Tricia: Hi we''ll meet soon.
Iyah anak: No need to read The Hobbit. Yong first chapter nag LOTR-FOTR, recap kung paano napunta ang ring by Bilbo. So, okay lang.See you. Welcome back!!! Balikbayan #3 ka na: first si Louize, then si Ace, now si Iyah!!!
Hello all, I'm Jayvee and I am 24. I come from somewhere in Bulacan.I picked up the hobby of reading last year when I first got interested with Bill Simmons' The Book of Basketball. I guess something with Mr. Simmons' funny and captivating style of sports writing coupled with his blatant disdain of everything Lakers caught my interest. He took potshots at anything but he structured his arguments to all of the debates in his book (eg. Bill Russell vs Wilt Chamberlain, the best NBA season a team put together in a year) and left me satisfied as a reader. You could say that's where the ball got rolling.
I like reading books that contain basketball, football, humor/comedy, politics (and the conspiracies and espionage angle that come with it) and the World War 2. I have amassed quite a number of books about the World War 2 (eg. The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich, A World at Arms, Inside the Third Reich, Mein Kampf, among others), and I will continue to search for good and interesting reads about the era. I like reading books that answer "how this happened", "how did it all come together", "why is this the case" or "what made things become what they are now".
I must admit that I am not big when it comes to fiction. I have despised fiction primarily because of Twilight. I simply don't like the book series. However, I am open to expanding my reading genres and also would like to learn other writing styles. I want to shed that prejudice against fictional works. I want to be versatile when it comes to reading, and my one of my goals is to better understand the message that authors try to tell to me in their books. Usually, I can summarize a book by reading it from cover to cover, which is not that hard, but I want to be able to go higher by trying to capture and understand what the author is trying to say to me as a reader of his/her book.
When I'm not reading, I work a day job at some firm. I also like to engage in and watch sports, with rooting interests for the LA Lakers, FC Barcelona, Arsenal FC. I'm a lifelong fan of the DLSU Green Archers. I like to listen to music, and sometimes I do it while I am reading. I am a big fan of the 80's music scene, specifically of the new wave genre. Some of my favorite new wave acts are New Order, Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, Level 42 and Prefab Sprout.
Thank you for welcoming me into this group and I hope to learn a lot from reading books and sharing discussions with you.
Yes, I play basketball. I'm not the best at it though. I'm a defensive turnstile, lol.I play football too. I like being in the midfield.
Hi Jayvee, welcome to the group. I understand why you despise Twilight, but there is more to fiction than Twilight. One bad book (hehe) doesn't mean all the rest are bad, right? *Runs away from the Twilight fans.
Hi all, my name's Marie. Matagal nang miyembro pero lurker. Just finished reading Stephen King's On Writing. Currently reading Alexander Dumas's The Count of Monte Cristo & G.R.R. Martin's Game of Thrones. Will next read Jose Rizal's Noli Me Tangere & Ernest Cline's Ready Player One. Nice to meet you all. :)

Haha. So happy! ^o^ Kristine & Will: Hello!
Nicole: Happy Independence Day din!
Marie: Noli Me Tangere!
Jzhun: Merong F2F na Noli? wow. =^_^=

That's the reason I chose Noli for my next read, kasi you guys are going to discuss it. I do hope to be there. :)
Kwesi: Hi Marie, welcome to TFG! Haha. Sana magustuhan mo ang The Count of Monte Cristo!
Hi Kwesi! So far so good naman.

I really hated how bella was depicted in the movie.
The skin glitters under the sun, i mean WTF?!! hehe. Sorry Twilight fans.
But i'll try to read the whole series pa rin. (kapag tinopak akong basahin)
haha,,,nabasa ko na buong series nyan..last two books i bought in saudi..im not a fan...its just that nabili ko na so binasa ko na..hmmm isa sya sa mga book..na pag daan ng araw nawawala sa isipan...it doesn't linger much..
