I'm not looking forward to Deadpool that much though. I think Ryan Reynold's doesn't fit the bill. He is not a match to Hugh Jackman. I would be excited if the director of Ironman 1 & 2. Jon Favreau would be the one to direct it. I think he's the best director that makes justice to graphic novels film adaptation. The Ironman 2 trailer is kickass. A lot of graphic novels films sucks like GI Joe, Watchmen, and even Superman Return.

Anyways, Kudos to you Isabelle. I rarely meet girls that is into this kind of stuffs. You're cool. :)))

And I love it that you're a Coelho fan as much as I.

I just think that most of our members are composed of teens and tweens that some of them fancy fantasy YA.

But I think if you like your YA reflected by gritty reality just like me there's S.E. Hinton and Markus Zusak who writes these kind of stories.

Anyway, it's a breath of fresh air that someone here really loves Paulo Coelho. There's always something profound to glean from work even if some consider it simplistic. And I like his fable-like prose: it's so lyrical and poetic.

Anyway, I've ranted a lot. All I really want to say is that you have some fun in here.

Hey guys! I'm Ariel, 27. I'm an accounting clerk by day and a bookaholic by night. hehehehe (At least it's something decent *wink*)

When I was still studying, most of my reading materials came from the library (meaning no budget to buy myself some books). I would read Anne Rice and John Grisham during my free hours. But now, I'm into fantasy, it was Jim Butcher that made me addict to this genre. I've been following his Dresden Files Series since 2007(The TV show is nice too).

While waiting for the next installment of the Dresden Files, I've been reading some YA stuff. Maybe because it's fun and I could finish it in one seating.

Currenty, I'm following "The Mortal Instruments" by Cassandra Clare, "Daniel X" by James Patterson, "Percy Jackson and The Olympians" by rick Riordan.

To those who recommended books to me, thanks and I will try to get around them very soon. c",)

It's a different kind of fantasy with a special melding of science fiction into it.

Medyo marami lang talaga 'yung Dresden files, but I like them and love the TV series, too.
