Mercedes Keyes (mkeyes) | 100 comments Hello fellow writers,

I want to keep this short and sweet and to the point. Amber Swann Publishing Inc. has finally reopened. We have a ways to go still before it's loaded back up completely with all the stories it once held. So there is much to come! This is where you come in!

Writers - Authors - Old, New - contemplating it. We are looking for those of you who wish a particular place to post your stories. Stories that you don't mind presenting to be read for FREE.

New writers, interested in feedback - this MIGHT be the place for you. BUT - we are picky. We don't want just ANY writers. No... sorry.

First order... we are looking for INTERRACIAL stories ONLY!

Second... QUALITY reads only!!! I promised short and sweet... please, follow this link! It will tell you all you need to know and give you something to think about.

Hope after reading it - you're interested!

Ciao for now... M. Keyes

Venice Kennedy (venicekennedy) | 70 comments This sounds wonderful, Mercedes!! I've already indie published my first short, and working on a novella and a novel, but I could definitely see this a great way, a great opportunity,to connect with new readers. I want to participate! Gotta work on coming up with something interesting to present as a freebie though. This is just perfect timing for me, and I'll tell you a lot of beyond coincidence. A story to share one day.

I'm excited!

Mercedes Keyes (mkeyes) | 100 comments More than welcome Venice - I know there are BRILLIANT authors out here who feel the way that I do. I want us to stretch ourselves and SHOW what we're REALLY made of. Let's face it, doesn't take a whole lot to sit and tap out a book full of sex or erotica. BUT to write a succulent read that doesn't NEED erotica to enjoy it, in fact - is MORE enjoyable because the STORY and PLOT have hooked you! Yeah... we can do this.

In fact... I'm almost pleading with some of you, come on, SHOW what we are made of. Dig deep? Yeah, you may need to, but in the end, when you have, OH won't it be worth it to have gone OUT of your comfort zone to really and truly WRITE... what it really means. Research and all.

Get excited, stay excited and let's GO for it.

Venice Kennedy (venicekennedy) | 70 comments As a writer-- my passion and interest is to reveal the naked emotional landscape of my characters. Combine that with my love of 'story' and it's a no brainer that I personally can't focus my writing on or enjoy other stories that are build up, around or for dependent on the great hot love/sex scene(s). I get others need the hot sex in there, and that's all about preference, and if others love writing sex scenes, that's cool. Not everyone needs to be writing up out of the same place, or with same construct, or intention in mind. But as a newbie that isn't coming into the genre with those kinds of stories, I've been wondering how to hook up with my 'tribe'-- and find out how to present/connect to readers whom might be looking for the kinds of stories I write. Of course, my hope my work appeals to everyone-- I'd love that!

Mostly I'm very excited about the component you're presenting of the push to stretch myself as a writer! I'm eager for that nudge to see what I've got in me.

The thought of growing as a writer--always excites me.

So, Mercedes -- yeah! Yeah! Yeah! I'm very much looking forward to participating and learning!:)
