I think I must be weird. I really enjoyed Exit A, but it doesn't look as if anyone else did! I found it incredibly romantic. Not in a sappy way, but in a real way. Whatever...

*revs engine* ;)
Jeane wrote: "Com'on Kandice ferarri!!!"Ha ha! I wish! What I'd really like to be is a Volvo! How mundane a dream can you have? But, they ARE very, very safe!
Okay, so I seem to be pretty much on track. Well, a little behind...but I am breezing through The Loop, and the next two in line are not so long, so I should be okay.
No way!!!! You are already so ahead of me. My ONLY shot at catching up, is, basically, you falling behind!!!! *infinite<3*
Kandice wrote: "Okay, so I seem to be pretty much on track. Well, a little behind...but I am breezing through The Loop, and the next two in line are not so long, so I should be okay."I'm so glad we're reading it :) very good so far.
hihi. No, I will jsut feel so very happy that you like so much my favourite book. That is actually an understatement. It isn't ony my favourite book. I think it is the fiction book that touched me the most and deepest.
But, but... I feel like I am sooo slacking! I feel like I have just wasted the last 2 weeks and haven't read anything!
Becky wrote: "But, but... I feel like I am sooo slacking! I feel like I have just wasted the last 2 weeks and haven't read anything!"Whatever, Miss Billion Book Becky!
I can NOT, for the life of me, see how Jeane got through this book. I am a whimpering bag of sadness. I can't imagine her state of mind at the end:(
Kandice wrote: "Just started Solaris which is my favorite style of book, so should be quick."YAY! :D
Okay, 40 books and we are already more than a 1/3 of the way through the year. I need to hurry up...come on May 28th!!!
I'm composing a review. I am trying to make you proud, (and Jon) so I really need to think. I have a yellow legal pad, but I keep crossing things out. By tommorrow I pronise. (maybe tonight)
oooo yay Kandice! I always wish you wrote more reviews, you have such a nice way of seeing things. All we want is your opinion...so you should try writing more of them! :D
I feel bad now...I just kinda crap out reviews right when I finish books, and put little to no thought into them. :\
I usually do too. They also end up about 2 sentences long. Becky and Jon write them as if they were getting paid, so I was trying to do them proud. I kind of suck, though. I think I am the only person at work that uses yellow legal pads. There are 2 cases in the supply closet that I am taking my last day, as I am the only person that ever requested them!
You don't have to go out of your way to do me proud K, just write what you thought of the book and I will be happy! (That's all I do.)
Yes, but YOU do so eloquently, and my attempts always come across as terse and uneducated. I am almost finished! I'll post it when I get home tonight. I'm off in about 40 minutes.
I'm right on track now, and should have no problems reaching my 100.Now, I have to resist the urge to up my goal;)
I added a The Castle in the Forest A Novel even though I finished it almost a month ago. I had forgotten to add it. I am a shoe-in for my goal:)
Yes fair! You are a reading wiz, and I need every inch of catch up I can get. Besides, I thought we were running together, not against:)
But then I'll start sewing again and you'll pass ME!!! I know that's how it will go. As long as you are around for me to argue, discuss, diagree, agree with and borrow from, I don't really care who's ahead.
lol! Well I probably have more time on my hands...no kids and all. I think you read pretty fast, you go through a ton of books!
Becky wrote: "I don't have kids either, but I don't read nearly as fast as you do, Alli-san!"Gooshy stuff, too...
yeah well, I don't have a life. LOL. Maybe thats not true...but half the time I really do choose to stay home and read over going out with friends. It makes Danny CRAZY!
Before I had children, I would be happy to spend all of my off day on a chair with a diet Coke and a book. (or two or three...) Just wait 'til they grow up...
Alli-san, I am the same way. I do believe that that is why you befriended me, isn't it? Because I said I was a hermit? LOL
Becky wrote: "Alli-san, I am the same way. I do believe that that is why you befriended me, isn't it? Because I said I was a hermit? LOL"pretty much.
we really need to live close together...we could read together and my husband couldn't accuse me of eschewing humanity ;)
I wish I had a transporter. Wouldn't it be heaven to just be in the same room reading? I have 5 recliners in my living room. We could all be comfy and I could make us cookies:)
I didn't want them. I totally admit to wanting pretty furniture, but Vinny talked me into a recliner for him, a loveseat with TWO recliners and a couch with TWO recliners. They are actually attractive, (Chocolate leather sides and trim and cream suede seats)and sooooooo comfy!!!!!
Nice. I actually have no living room furniture except for two papasan chairs, which I loathe. They seemed like a good idea at the time, but I hate them now. But that's besides the point, as we are never in there anyway. But If I had a recliner, I would be in heaven!! A nice recliner, the laptop and a book would be just heavenly. :)
