I haven't finished it yet but wanted to discuss it as I go..I just met Blake and I can already see a love triangle in the making... Or maybe him and Dee will fall in love? idk but he's gonna be an important character I think

Ah, Blake! I can't say much without giving things away...I'll just say that most of the time I was reading, I disliked him.

The first one was okay, but it did take me ages to get into it.The second one i couldn't enjoy, because the first half was really slow, and Katy annoyed me way too much. :(
Hmm well I don't share any of those feelings with you guys so hopefully it won't be such a bummer for me.. Crossing my fingers!

Onyx (don't read until you finish, Rachel!)(view spoiler) but Opal was amazing! And I have no words good enough to convey my feelings for Origin.

P.S. You don't have to hide your spoilers when you're the only one currently reading it :) The next time people want to read this series, we'll create a barrier of sorts, saying that so-and-so are starting this book on a certain date, don't read above this line unless you want spoilers.
Finished Chapter 14 Okay Katy is starting to annoy me how she keeps insisting that Daemon doesn't like her.... TO Daemon.. My boyfriend always gets mad at me for "assuming I know what he's feeling/thinking" and that's totally whats going on here and its annoying lol
But I can look past it because I love watching Daemon try and change her mind.. I literally LOL at him constantly, I love his snark

It just wasn't for me at all. Just thinking about it now makes me want to vomit. you can't put into words how someone couldn't like this, I can't put into words how much I didn't like this.

Katy is really annoying in this book. I just wanted to tell her to shut up and pay attention! He obviously liked her.
His attitude is so funny!! I'm pretty sure I did some unladylike snorting while reading. Lol

Wow, you disliked it that much? That's so hard for me to understand. But then again, everybody is different. I couldn't stomach Juliette in Shatter Me, and Aria and Perry in Under the Never Sky were incredibly dull to me. It just depends on what you like!

I hated under the never sky. The second one is still in my bookcase unread.
Well so far I'm totally on Jalyn's side... I just LOVE this book.. I love the characters.Yes Katy can be annoying but shoot... I can relate to her and her annoyingness. I'm about half way through now, Daemon keeps getting sexier and sexier..
I decided I don't like Blake and I don't trust him.. Mostly because Daemon doesn't and I'm on his side 100%
Something good is about to happen though, Katy just saw Dawson's girlfriend.. I hope Dawson is alive!

I miss Dee's presence in this book.. I wish Katy and Daemon would stop being so secretive and let her in on everything!And I think her and adam being all physical is totally cute
85% UGHHHH Damn you Blake!! I want to hate him and I do (sorta) but I kinda feel bad for him.The bad guys in this one (DOD & Arum) are so despicable and hateable.. I give mad props to the JA because she can make us fall in love with the good guys and despise the bad guys.. Loving this still but for some reason it seems a little longer than the other one..
Oh and ADAM!!!! :(((( Dee is gonna be a mess.

This book was a little long for the first half for me, but it picked up towards the second half. Wait until you read the rest! The next two books are sooooo good! Aaahhhh!
I KNEW I HATED WILL OMG! And mm-mm-mm that sexy scene with Daemon & Katy where she FINALLY tells him she loves him and then he stops their almost sexy time and says he wants to do it right.
I just love how their relationship has progressed... It's picture perfect
I just finished and OMG DAWSON!!!I knew he was alive but something is off with him.. I'm def gonna read Shadows now.
The ending was sooooo good I can't wait for the next ones
