Okay I'm 61% through..

I was totally swooning in Chapter 10 because I have a tattoo that says "People Always Leave But Sometimes They Come Back" (One Tree Hill Quote) and Dee says "Just come back safe okay?" and Daemon says "I always come back."
SO YEAH BASICALLY HE'S MY SOULMATE?

Bethany & Dawson's love story is adorable but it's no Kaemon love story for sure... JA is soooo good and writing people into love, it's great.

I wonder how shocked I would have been about Katy's mom dating Will in Onyx if I had read this first.

I know this book is supposed to be about Dawson & Bethany but UGH Daemon and the way he loves his siblings is so darn sexy!

I started Opal yesterday and so far the first 4 chapters are all about the romance which was quite annoying. I felt temporarily relieved when Katy has not mentioned anything about book reviewing but it still came!! Haha. I couldn't help but still be mad at Daemon and Katy for not finishing off Blake. They should have, in the first place. I hope this'll be a good sequel, though. It has a really high rating (4.46?).

This is like a new adult book with paranormal elements. The previous chapter even earned eye rolls from me. (Mostly because the problem was with ME, and not the book, just want to make it clear, though.)

But Daemon was right, this'll blow up in Katy's face — again — soon, just like last time did. She's not listening, again. Her arguments consist of not wanting to be the one saved, when last time that happened, and being able to help, because she knows what she's capable of .

I'm through with Chapter 6 and you're right.. Katy is just so freaking annoying! I think the author tries really hard to make her relate-able to fangirls and on one hand it works, but on the other hand is just annoying.

Chapter 22- ARGG the sexual tension between these two is pretty intense.. I've said this before but I really do like how their relationship has progressed both mentally and physically. One step at a time, baby steps. I still liked them better when they hated eachother. Daemon is still sexy though and I'd gladly walk in Katy's shoes.

I finished Opal last night and sadly, I did not like it. I gave it two stars. I'll probably be abandoning this series now, I'm not sure. :(

The cliffhanger didn't convinced me!

I just finished and I thought it was pretty good.. I gave it 4 stars. I get what you mean about not being convinced by the cliffhanger. I'm not running out to get the next one but I do want to see it come to an end..

I heard that Origin switches between Katy & Daemon's perspective so I am kinda excited about that
