hmmm...I'm almost finished with Opal. What I can say for now is that all of them changed since Onyx.

I'm about half way into the book, and I'm really annoyed with Katy AGAIN for never listening to Daemon.
Katy is definitely annoying, I want to pull all her hair out!

Eww..yuck! ...just read the part where Katy finds out its been (view spoiler) I think she should hav told Daemon right away! That kd is seriously disturbed.
***SPOILER ALERT***I just finished Onyx. I loved, loved, loved Daemon in this book, but Katy definitely got on my nerves for the first half. I'm glad she got some sense in her toward the end about Daemon. I never trusted Blake and though I didn't trust Will either, I didn't figure out that he was Beth's uncle (which seems so obvious to me now). I hate that Adam died :( I feel so bad for Dee! I wonder how bad things will get with Ash and Andrew now. I'm sure they'll blame Katy.And can somebody please tell me why Daemon never said those three little words back to Katy?!?! Aaaahhhh I wanted that so bad!
I know! I wanted him to say it out loud, ok. I guess actions will have to Speak louder than words for the time being. Impossible you say? But your love for Daemon will grow even stronger in Opal!

Ok, I just finished....that is a cliffhanger from hell. It wasn't totally unexpected, TONS of foreshadowing, but it still left me totally distraught.
