Navigating Goodreads

How are you people getting your remarks listed in the updates on the the home page? I never see the books I rate in the list. I know that I'm cyber-challenged, but I find Goodreads especially hard to negotiate. What am I missing?

Have you checked your profile settings?

Follow the edit link (the "Can I prevent my" is the opposite to what you want but the edit link should take you to the place to check your settings)

Scott, unlike Facebook or Twitter, your own activity does not show up on your homepage. Only your friends' and followers' activity appears there.
