8:30AM And I am patiently waiting for my sissa and her family to be here. They are coming for vacation for 10 days from Indiana! I am way past excited! Still have a few things to do that will keep me busy till they get here. They should be arriving between 4:30 and 5:00.

8:13AM Hey guys! I have been super busy with family here. We have been having so much fun though and that is what makes it all worthwhile. Today we are heading to the Fort Worth Stockyards. Lots of great things to do there. Will try and check in more often than I have been.

7:00PM Taking a lot of extra time with my family this evening because they will be leaving me in the morning. :( I will miss them so much and a year is a long time to be apart.

7:20 AM Yesterday was a really hard day for my Mom and I, our cat Ernie, who we've had for 12 years had to be put to sleep, he was very sick. He was diabetic and it was just starting to get more worse each day, he wasn't going to the bathroom, he'd hiding under things and the vet said his kidneys were failing and it would have only been a matter of time, so we made a very hard decision. He was a good cat and we're really gonna miss him. But as hard as it was, he's in a better place now and he's not in pain anymore.

11:09PM Sitting here with End of Watch in front of me, checking Good Reads and munching on some snacks. They are called Harvest Snaps, snap pea crisps. The flavor is Wasabi Ranch. Very low in carbs and so tasty. The black pepper ones are good too. YUM!

Oh Corey, I'm so sorry to hear about Ernie :( :( :( That is just so sad, and I know what an empty place he will leave in your hearts :( It is so hard to make that tough call but it just shows how much you both loved him that you didn't want to let him suffer. Sending you both love and hugs xx

Funny that you said that about ghost stories.. I got up and walked to the restrooms and I was reading a scary book before that, and when I was walking back to the campsight my husband and stepson jumped out at me when I was walking back. It scared me to death. They thought it was funny.

Shell hope you can get out a weekend soon, so much fun.

8:50PM had a lovely dinner of Zucchini pasta and alfredo sauce, takes some time but it is so worth the work! YUM! Took a long walk with Kay and got my steps in again. Now catching up on Good Reads and then I will read some more.

9.48AM Ahhhh finally it's Friday! It's going to be a busy weekend though as we are going on a road trip to visit one of my oldest and dearest friends. It has been so stormy this week with lots of flooding, but the sun is out today so I hope that continues for our drive.

8:34PM Had a pretty busy day today, but enjoyed it fully. Started out with my 6 year old grandson's football game. Oh my goodness they played so well and Aeverie got the last score of the game with a 40 yard TD, and the first time he got to carry the ball, he usually plays center. Then went to Daughters House and celebrated Aeverie's victory today with a very yummy cook out. Came home and took a walk to get my steps in and then threw the football around with my son, ended my day to get the last thousand steps I needed and then got my shower, now have my coffee and I am ready to read read read. Hope everyone had great days today!

9:59 AM. Feeling awful. I feel "down" yesterday evening, and this morning I woke up with strep....Ugh. Trying to take it easy and read.
