12:07 AM Power just came on not too long ago after being out since 3 or so. Next line of storms are moving in around 2-2:30, according to the radar!
Janelle wrote: "Andrea I hope all is well."Janelle we are fine. Had some isolated tornados around the area. No major damage reported. Just some tree limbs down, and over two inches of rain. This area does not need anymore rain.

I'm glad you pulled through okay Andrea, you had me worried there.
Janie wrote: "10:28AM Sitting here with my tea and I am going to read today and read another nice chunk of Outlander. Such a good book."Janie, I am thrilled that you are enjoying Outlander. We can still be friends. Lol. Wink wink.
12:20 I just got into my hospital room where I will be staying until further notice.. Lots of reading time for sure!
Andrea, I'm glad to hear that. PA has been having its share of bad weather as well. What happened to fun in the sun?
Heather wrote: "12:20 I just got into my hospital room where I will be staying until further notice.. Lots of reading time for sure!"Heather I hope you pull through okay, whatever is going on.
12:37PM Plan on getting some good reading done today. So enjoying Outlander, but trying to make it stretch till the last week of the month so I can include it in the TBR Takedown.
Andrea glad to hear nothing too serious with the tornadoes. he sirens and such can be so scary though. I hate high wind, that bothers me the most I think.
HAHA Susan I know you don't mean to say that had I not liked Outlander we could not be friends. Seriously though it is a great story so far and I can't believe I like it as much as I do since there is also romance involved. But it is not that cheesy romance, so that helps.
Heather I hope all is well with you and nothing too serious with being in the hospital. Enjoy your reading.

Janelle wrote: "11:37p.m...Ever try to read, but your eyes say you are tired and when you stop you are wide awake..?"Happens to me once in a great while.
LOL Janelle that happens often. So I will generally get up to do something and then start reading again. It works!
Me too Corey, but this is the second night in a row.Janie, I did just that. I went and stalked the cat until she got tired of me. Lol.
3:16 PM just got news I will be sleep deprived until 4 am! Thank god for books, coloring pages, and movies!! PS MY DOCTOR IS HOT LOL
4:54PM Hey everyone, I guess I could say I kinda broke the law today, HAHA! But it wasn't anything serious, anyway my Mom is having trouble with her car, the brakes are making a noise that we don't like the sound of. So anyway we had to go down the place where you rent a car and from there she drove the rent-a-car and I followed her in our car to the mechanic shop. I was a nervous wreck because it's the first time I've ever driven by myself, and since I've only got my permit I have to have a licensed driver with me in the vehicle. But the mechanic shop was just down the street and I did fine, and I'm really proud of myself.
6:37 P.M. Relaxing under a blanket on the couch with football on in the background and a book in my lap. :)
6:41P.M. -Babysitting my niece for my sister and trying to read my book, which I can't seem to put down.
9:58PM Wow been awhile since I posted in this thread. Been home about an hour. My brother-in-law is in town so we went to dinner together. I need to read some more tonight but I am getting tired.
6:39 PM. Enjoying my new Keurig. Of course, I have not used it yet; but I do like looking at it. I also got another book in the mail... I really need to stop book shopping... :(
5:45 P.M.-Baby-sitting again for my sister. Thanking God it's Friday. Trying to read as well. I'm absolutely loving The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger.
7:17PM Had a very busy week, my Aunt had to go in for surgery yesterday, she had a fractured back and she's been in a lot of pain. The surgery went well, they had to put four screws in her back, and two metal rods. Now she's gonna be in the hospital for a few days getting her strength back, we caught this just in time, if we hadn't she probably would have been paralyzed within a couple months.Other than that I'm doing well, hope everyone else is doing well.
Thanks Holly, I'll tell her you're thinking of her. She had a rough morning today, the doctor's already started her on solid foods and she ended up throwing it back up. I don't think she's quite come out of the anesthesia yet.
Holly wrote: "You're welcome. Aw, that stinks."Yeah I know, but she's getting a lot of attention from the nurses, which she loves, especially if it's a male nurse, HAHA! I should mention she's down syndrome.
Holly wrote: "Aww. I bet she's awesome."She is, I'll show you a picture of her sometime, since we're friends on Facebook I'll send you a photo of her.
8:27A.M.- I'm ready to finish The Catcher in the Rye, but my body requires me to sleep and I have responsibilities and a family and friends.
8:41AM Have to run out this morning to the bank, then my daughter is coming over. Not sure how much I will get read since we also need to get some food in the house. GAH.
Alondra awesome you got a Keurig! We got one for our sister a few Christmases ago and she loves it. Then I think it was last year we got one for our Son in law. Have fun with it.
Speedy recovery to your Aunt Corey, hope everything continues to go well for her.

10:34PM Had a busy day today and now trying to get into tis review book, Madeleine's Kiss: A Love Story of Suspense, and it is not working for me. LOL I feel obligated to finish this since I did get it for review, so hopefully tomorrow.
Busy, fun day....interjected with Breaking Bad episodes. We have been on a marathon, (and eating too much). I thought it was about a bunch of thugs..NOT.., or ... Half way through the series.? Very well written drama with dark comedy inserts.I have read three completely different books/genres in the last 8 days. Kind of nice to jump around. Hope everyone is having a Great Labor Day weekend!
3:16 a.m on a marathon reading Finders Keepers. Taking a little break before I finish. Haven't done this in a while.
10:08AM Been busy this AM mostly with the pumpkin plants, but also laundry and kitchen cleaning lol. I hope to get some good time spent with Voyager today.
10:20 A.M- Starting my heavy diet today. I'm hoping to get some time with Little Women today, which by the way I'm loving.
11:38 AM. Recuperating after hitting the mountains yesterday. Not too much hiking, but trying to get "good pictures"... ugh. I.AM.NOT.A.ROCK.CLIMBER.
Also, finished Freedom™, and really enjoyed it. I actually finished a series.
