Secondhand stores are the best of me and worst for my wallet. You can buy a stack of books for cheap. Today I got "The End Games" by T. Michael Martin, "City of Bones" Cassandra Clare and "The 5th Wave" by Rick Yancey. ( It looked brand new, like no one read it)

Hehe Mary, My sister bought it for me and brought when she came for her summer visit. I am excited to read it too!
Mary Beth and Janie- I hope you both enjoy The Outsider. I do suggest you read the Bill Hodges trilogy first because there is a little crossover between the books. I enjoyed it.
Andrea, I read The Bill Hodges trilogy too and loved it. I was so surprised with the cross over in the books, which made me love this book even more.Janie I loved this one a lot. I think you will love this book. Your sister is so cool! How nice of her to give you this book. But of course every one that really knows you, knows how much you love Stephen King.
Got some great books with my birthday money, and as birthday presents from my parents!

Great books Corey. I really enjoyed Deaver's Kathryn Dance series, but the Lincoln Rhyme series I did not like the direction he took Amelia Sachs in the series. I feel like he kind of ruined it for me with that.

Yea Corey I felt the same way with the Odd Thomas series. He is such a great character too. I hate the disappointment. The struggle is real.
Recently I’ve bought The Kind Worth Killing by Peter Swanson, Hyperion by Dan Simmons, Pretty Girls by Karin Slaughter, In a Dark, Dark Wood by Ruth Ware, The Woman in the Window by AJ Finn, A Court of Wings and Ruin and A Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J Maas, Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn, The Girl on the train by Paula Hawkins, and the the Fifth Season trilogy by NK Jemison and I Also just got The Hate You Give by Angie Thomas in the mail yesterday.
I'd earned enough stamps to receive £10 off books at Waterstones so I treated myself to The Cruel Prince by Holly Black, Ash Princess by Laura Sebastian and Time's Convert by Deborah Harkness. Really helps assuage the guilt when you know you've got a bargain haha.
Wow, Victor, what a book haul! I loved The Girl on the Train, and Sharp Objects.I recently got Persuasion, Sense and Sensibility, and The Boy on the Bridge.
Just went to the book store with hubs and we got a few books! We got Persuasion, The Devil Colony, The Hidden Child, Goth Girl Rising and True Colors.
I have not read any of them. I have only read 'I Hunt Killers' by Lyga, I got it as a review book, and really liked it. So I figured I might like his other stuff too.
Elevation by Stephen King, Case Histories by Kate Atkinson (found it on the clearance shelf), Origin (Robert Langdon #5) by Dan Brown, While I Was Gone (A book I've wanted to read for a long time, and found it on the clearance shelf) by Sue Miller, Exit West by Mohsin Hamid (clearance shelf), Bittersweet by Miranda Beverly-Whittemore (clearance shelf), The Girl with the Pearl Earring by Tracy Chevalier (clearance shelf), and The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah.

Hubby Just read Origin I think. I know he bought it, and pretty sure he read it. He loves that series. Great buys off the clearance rack!

I just bought Finders Keepers by Stephen King. I read Mr Mercedes right when it first came out so I’m wondering if I should just dive right into this book or reread Mr Mercedes. Any thoughts?
I guess it depends on how good your memory is how long ago you read Mr. Mercedes! I would re-read Mr. Mercedes myself, because my memory sometimes fails me. The whole series is fantastic though.
My cousin is moving to North Carolina and she was cleaning out her Dad's Stephen King collection, he passed away a few years ago, and she wanted me to have some of the books, and here's what I got,

Goodness Christine, those books will last you until next Christmas, HAHA!
I'm an English major and my reading lists for classes next semester were posted so I bought about 16 books for class (which I'll spare the titles but some interesting ones were Pride and Prejudice and Binti) but had to add a couple fun books to my cart of course. I bought For Better or Worse by Margot Hunt and A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara. I don't think A Little Life could be counted as "fun" but I want to read it even if it makes me cry haha!
I bought the last two books that follow To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before. I read the first book a while ago but I never got to read the rest of the series till now. Since Christmas was just coming up, I didn’t want to buy too many books because I didn’t want to get one for myself and later get it as a gift.
Britain, what did you think of To All the Boys I've Loved Before? For me it was just ok. I think the movie tells the story good enough. I wished I had watched it before reading the book.
I went to Half Price Books today and got super lucky with the clearance shelf. When you see popular hardbacks for 2-4 dollars you just can't pass those up! I picked up Luckiest Girl Alive by Jessica Knoll, The Lying Game by Ruth Ware (super excited to find this one on clearance), Disappearance at Devil's Rock by Paul Tremblay, 77 Shadow Street by Dean Koontz (I didn't realize this was the large print version, but maybe I'll be able to read it quicker now), The Luminaries by Eleanor Catton, The Twelve by Justin Cronin, and Shades of Grey by Jasper Fford. And then books that weren't on clearance but still relatively cheap are Horns by Joe Hill, On Writing and a cool pink copy of The Shining by the one and only Stephen King, and The Goldfinch by Donna Tart. And then I splurged and bought a hardcover of The Fireman by Joe Hill for $15. My TBR has officially surpassed 100 books and I really need to get that number down so this will definitely be it for a while, but I just couldn't pass these clearance books up!
