After a three-month-long reading slump I finally used up a Christmas gift card today and got three books:My Not So Perfect Life
Little Fires Everywhere
Madame le Commissaire und der verschwundene Engländer (popular German crime novel)
Spent the rest of the day reading My not so Perfect Life, exactly the kind of fluff I need right now. :)
That’s cool. I think the last book I bought was battlefield earth. I have tried not to buy much books until I read the hundreds of books on my shelf hahhaa. So far I have a large box to take to books a million since I can’t find anyone who wants to book swap.
Yep and I would book swap with you and I wouldn’t like that book called battlefield earth and I have so many books in my house too
I went to the secondhand today and got me some books. "Ripley's Believe It Or Not: Impossibly Amazing", "How to build a girl", Goosebumps: Living Dummy Collection, and the best for last Stephen King's 11\22\63. (So much for my book buying ban Lol!)
Well I read a Stephen King book called Pet Sematary and I didn’t like it because it had way too many words and that Ripley's Believe It or Not! books are too weird for me and How to Build a Girl I think I would like that book and those Goosebumps books I read and my brother used to read them too
Yeah, I agree Christine. Stephen King can write chunky books. I read "Sleeping Beauty's" by him and his son Owen a few months ago. That book was massive. I think they could have narrowed it down. I love "Ripley's Believe It Or Not" books. Yeah, some stuff in there are pretty weird. I used to read\watch "Goosebumps" back in the day. My favorite was the one with Slappy the puppet and also the one with the haunted mask. R.L.Stine is like the Stephen King of Y.A.
I love reading suspense books and biography books and I never knew that Stephen King’ son is a writer too and I used to watch goosebumps when I was young too and I read some of those goosebumps books too
Stephen King has two sons and they're both writers as well. (Owen King and Joe Hill) I haven't read an Owen King book, but I have read two of Joe Hill's books. Pretty good! Goosebumps "will never" get old. (at least for me)
I bought "Reality Boy" by A.S. King, "The Journal of Eleanor Druse" by Eleanor Druse and "The Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins. (I am sad to say I haven't read\watched "The Hunger Games" yet)
Bought a whole bunch of books at Goodwill today, I don't even know if there are any left I bought so much, just kidding, there's still books there, HAHA! I got

Nice Haul Corey. I have almost 100 books that I have bought over the last year that I need to do a haul on for my channel. I think I will do that today.
I too have Roots. I bought it because my mom loved it, so I really need to read it. I did see some of the show that they aired on it. Anyway enjoy all your awesome books!

Thanks Janie! You know it's funny because I watched the whole mini-series last Winter, for the first time, they play it once every year, Mom and I recorded it, and I watched the whole series and I was just blown away, it made me want to read the book!
