My Dad went out and bought me a few books for my Birthday, which is tomorrow, thank you Dad, love you! Here's what I got,

What great parents you have, Corey! No wonder you're such an avid reader: they both give you reading encouragement.

My Spook Season reads arrived today. The Spiderwick Chronicles: The Field Guide and The Seeing Stone along with the rest of the Percy Jackson Series: TheTitans Curse, The Battle of the Labyrinth and The Last Olympian.
Well it has been about a couple of months since I bought anything besides comics but the last one I think is Sleeping Beauties by Stephen and Owen King
Haven't read it yet but since Stephen King had a hand in it I think it will be awesome I used to own all his books all the way up to 2006
Speaking of King, I just lugged home a first edition of the complete and uncut hardback edition of The Stand and boy are my arms tired!
I've always wanted to read this. Got a Barnes & Noble gift card for Christmas so I used it to buy this.
And then I got this one. Supposed to be a really good vampire splatterpunk story...

The last book I bought was Battlefield Earth witch apparently is a movie my husband said was terrible so let’s hope the book will be better when I get around to it. It’s huge :)

Awww thanks guys. I have really missed doing them, so I am hoping once my library is back in order I will be able to get going again.
Well not as much as I used to since I am back at work. I used to read between 100 and 120 a year. So far this year all I have read is 16. I really miss being able to just read whenever I want.
