What books have you bought lately?
Totally freaking out excited! I won a copy of
by Andrew Pyper on instagram and I cannot wait to read this. Totally epic moment for a few reasons which are off topic, but I'm dying happy and hopeful <------that scares me anymore. The synopsis is so awesome!! Definitely one to check out from @simonbooks and @legendary entertainment! Corey and Janie, I think this is one you might love to read. *totally screaming* :)

Hi Shelleen,
That is an awesome list! I'm drooling, lol. :)
@Corey RE: The Diary of a Young Girl".....read it when I was in school (won't mention how many years ago), loved it and the definitive edition. What's also an awesome one is a very detailed account of everything. Fascinating book I begged my ex for it about two years ago it's
by Anne Frank of course, but the edition is the "Revised Critical Edition" from the Netherlands Institute For War Documentation. It's deeply detailed and the illustrations are incredible. It's comparing notes, letters, handwriting for authenticity. There's too much to type about it, but it's incredible. Enjoy the one you have. It's a wonderful, albeit horrible story. Sad......but worth the read. I Hope everyone is well? :)

Thank you M, I hope you're doing well too. Thanks for the feedback.
HAHA M. it is always nice to win books. I only ever won one time, but hey that's ok, it was exciting!
I had a Bookcrossing lunch today and came home with The Bells by Richard HarvellThen I stopped at Barnes and Nobles, this is a college store so not as many books. I bought:
The Midnight Queen - Sylvia Izzo Hunter
Secrets and Lies - Jacqueline Green
Went to my favorite place in the world today, care to take a gander? HAHA Yes the Half Price book store in the Opera House on the square. I found a 1st edition hardback of The Dark Tower for $2. How about that, among other books as well.
Thank you Janie :') Please don't be mad at this 'really' long post :-/ I want to share so badly with people who share the love and Wow! I haven't been able to post much on this thread in awhile. Thanks (kind of), to a defective coffee pot, I was given a choice to exchange or get a refund. No brainer.....books of course. I discovered these from an awesome person on instagram, didn't win them so I used my coffee pot credit to get these Beauties....
And...
which I actually read from the Penguin First To Read program and loved it so much (that makes me sound so morbid, lol), but I wanted a copy to read it again. Also, an AMAZING new friend sent me two books which left me touched, shocked and speechless in ability to express enough gratitude because they're books I 'never' thought I'd ever be able to add to the never ending wishlist so I have a LOT of pay it back and forward I'd Love to do in gratitude for her kindness that's touched me deeply.....
Those two books are....
and
both sent with a Beautiful card and message. Thank you R2 you know who you are and hopefully how Happy you made this heart. Especially with all that's going on.With regards to the coffee pot, I asked my ex to just run to the local food store and pick up a cheap one. Here's the awesome news. He got there and it was $20.00, on sale for $9.99. Awesome right? Even better.....*so Happy* the scanner rang the coffee pot up at regular, not sale, price so since it's a store that gives the item free if it scans the wrong price, the coffee pot was totally free and I LOVE it, lol.
So that's a huge haul and it was with help of a few things and an AMAZING person!!
One more, I did win a book on instagram that I wasn't able to get to in time from the Penguin First To Read Program and I was really upset about so winning this from Penguin was awesome. Thank you Penguin......
The book is
And also the instagram win which I'm DYING to read, due to arrive tomorrow....
by Andrew PyperIn all the stress, worry and fear happening at home there is 'nothing' in this world to express the joy these gifts have brought into my home and heart.
Thank you to all who may have sent good thoughts and prayers out for my husband's health scare. They moved him out of ICU This morning and we're still in cautious mode. Sorry for going off topic again. I haven't been in here much, but I cherish all of you and my new friends on instagram so I've missed you. What's typed above is pure Love and the depth of gratitude for the books which were gifts runs incredibly deep in my heart.
Thank you for reading, all good thoughts and I hope you're all well, happy and making it through the cold and snowstorms on the way. Be safe :')

And Dark Tower for $2.00!? That's awesome!!
M. no worries on how long your posts are. I think we all like to see what each if us have for book hauls, and you had some good ones. WOW! I have been wanting to read We have Always Lived in the Castle, but I just have not gotten it yet, but one of these days I will. LOL, I always say that.
I am glad to hear he is out of ICU, will keep y'all in my thoughts and prayers. And I wanted to ask what your instagram is so I can add you there if you don't mind.

Paid another trip to Goodwill today and bought
for $3.00. M good choice on books, I'm glad to hear that your ex-husband's out of ICU. Don't ever give up hope.

For understanding and accepting my long posts, for your always good thoughts, kindness and also your good wishes for my ex. He got out today and I don't know how, but I seem to be more drained than he is. I just held it in like gripping a car steering wheel in bad weather without letting up for days and when he walked in the door I just let out a breath leaving me emotionally and physically drained. Thank you for everything. If it helps any, I annoy myself with my long messages and it's embarrassing.
As far as the books, I'm so excited, but under the circumstances he lost a lot of work pay and I had to cover some bills, so I'm hoping I can find a way to not have to return them. Also, my k-Fire, which is my fulltime computer, has been dying slowly for awhile and last night I got the black screen crash, it took a bit to get it back, but once I lose it I'm not going to be able to be here like I can now :( Kills me because here is my only thing to do everyday that's social and Happy.
Anyway, Janie I'd Love to connect with you on histogram! :') Thank you for wanting to. My username is FlyMe2TheStars_ under Melissa L. Iorio. *YAY* Awesome! Also, if my next check (once a month), gives me any breathing room, I'd Love to get you a copy of "We Have Always Lived In The Castle". The Penguin Edition I have is one of the many deluxe editions I'm dying to collect. A slow process, but the gift that was given to me in my last post and I said I want to pay it forward and pay it back for the gratitude I feel for one of the kindest things a person has ever done out of the blue, I'd Lobe it if you'd let me send you a copy? Please don't say no. I've always been a giver and for too many years nobody at home has let me give. That breaks my heart too painfully. Please DM me your address. It will make us both happy and it would mean so much for all the blessings in the darkness that I've been given. Sincerely, with all my Heart, I want to do this.
Corey, I wish I hate copy of the stand on hand. It's on storage which I can't get to, but I would have sent it to you in a heartbeat. You've both been amazing *and here come the tears* so I can't type much more *lucky for you both, lol*, but if have anything you'd like to read I'll do whatever I can to pass it along to either of you. I'm going to create a shelf with a few that I have extras of from when I was promoting on FB. Not tonight because I'm abkut to fall over and I need to read some ARC's, but I'll set it up asap.
I'd absolutely LOVE to give what I can to you. Nobody at home understands the depth of my wish to give and how it hurts when they turn me down so please let me give because it's a Joy to share and the friend from instagram who gave to me touched my Heart so deeply that I want and need to give back to her and to others whom I 'know' are Good hearted and awesome people. That would be both of you and a few other incredibly special people. So cough up your addresses and please allow me to do that.
Okay, I've typed so much and if you don't see me often it's because I'm totally freaked about my kindle and not being able to get online here so I need to let it rest and cross my fingers for some miracles. I don't wish for much of anything material except books and this so I hope asking for a materialistic miracle isn't going to send to hell, lol.
<3 You so much and appreciation is endless for every thing you do. Terrifying weekend you were here for me......I can't lose the connections here. It'll kill what's left of me.
~*Happy Reading*~ and I'll let you know when I've created a shelf of books you might be interested in. Not many left, but there are some.

I received 2 books from Amazon today.Truth or Dare and Kiss and Tell - both by Stephanie Perkins. I bought Secret and Lies on Saturday so now I have all 3 books.

Victor I have been hearing so much about this series I have decided to keep collecting these books. They had the last one too but I did not pick it up. Once I got home I discovered that had I bought that one too, I would have had them all. LOL I had no idea how many of them I had. Oh well.

Hi Everyone, Corey,
is one of my favorite Stephen King books. I haven't read many of his as you probably have, but this one is awesome. I totally agree with Janie. Wish it would be made into a movie. Enjoy it :)
I bought A Little Something Different and The Darkest Touch Just finished up A little Something Different and loved it.
Here's a couple of books that I've recently recieved:10th anniversary edition of Faithful by Stephen King and Stewart O'Nan. A book I'll probably never read (the 2004 season still stings to us Yankee fans), but it looks nice on my shelf.

PS Publishing's 30th anniversary edition of Thinner by Stephen King.

Part of their King anniversary editions; The last one will be Skeleton Crew later this year.
So jelly Squire! Very nice! I now have 3 first editions of books 5, 6, & 7 of the Dark Tower Series.
