What books have you bought lately?
It is a sequel .... Both really good. I'm a fan of John Grisham's books. I know sometimes they are kind of similar but I still can't resist them
I just got a special treat from my mom, I came across a book at Wal-Mart that was recommended to me by Goodreads,
, and I was gonna pay for it but my mom wanted to treat me, thank you Mom!

I have not bought any books for awhile since my sister brought me all of those books when she came to visit. Well this evening I visited the UBS and picked up 3 books. When Darkness Falls, thinking it was something else and I also got Ghost Road Blues and Compulsion.
It was my birthday yesterday, but I didn't buy any books. Instead, my other half bought me two :) The 100 and The Maze Runner which I really cant wait to read! I already started the first one hehe

Is Jake the character from A Time To Kill? It's been forever since I read that book!
Well having said I was not going to buy any books this month I went to Waterstones and brought loads. I had one of those days when virtually every book on my wish list jumped out at me. I got the following:
Burial Rites - to read before the film comes out
The Handmaid's Tale - as recommended on book tube
American Psycho - another book tube recommendation
City of Fallen Angels
Clockwork Angel
After the OH bought me The Maze Runner for my birthday, I spent a little of the money I got from a friend for my birthday on getting The Scorch Trials. I also bought The One Plus One :) I love Jojo Moyes, have done since I read The Girl You Left Behind
Janie, Ollie's is amazing! I made a trip there a few days ago and picked upMatched
Out of the Easy
The Wind Through the Keyhole
The Good Dream
Flash Point
Illusion
I saw the Vampire Academy series there in 2 box sets for $6.99 each but I passed on them after a lot of hemming and hawing. I just don't think I'd like them, I'm not a huge fan of paranormal (plus I can borrow them from my library if I change my mind.)
I also got a huge bag of mass markets (many Dean Koontz and crime fiction books) at the library. They let you fill a bag with paperbacks for a dollar, it's awesome!

Thanks Janie and Susan. It is hard to pass up $1.00-$2.00 books. Plus the money goes to help our local library. It is a win-win situation. We are a family of readers so I was able to get something for each of us :)
