Heard very good things about The Passage and the premise sounds great, so I have high hopes for it.

Victor wrote: "I just got Elixir in the mail. I didn't expect to get a manuscript, but it's actually pretty cool."Mine arrived just yesterday, Victor! I totally wasn't expecting an actual manuscript! Nevertheless, it is VERY cool!
I've been wanting to reread the Song of Ice and Fire books so I got the five book bundle for 20 dollars on my kindle. Those books are really big and kind of a hassle to carry around especially in school.
Two sets of ASoIaF books I'm not a fan or anything......
I bought more kindle books...If I Stay by Gayle Forman
Horns by Joe Hill
The Selection by Kiera Cass
The Stand by Stephen King

Victor, I bought the bundle last year. The only thing I did not like was how they did not separate the books. Hopefully they changed them where they are separated.

I'm curious about Joe Hill.
Jen, Joe hill is pretty good and has a lot of his father's talents. I can surely see a lot of King in his writing style.
Thanks Janie.Jen- They madebit a lot easier to navigate to each book. I know the format really aggravated some people, but I can't find anything wrong with it. :)

Nope, not a fan AT ALL!:)

There was no page count of each book which aggravated me. I am on the 3rd book so maybe there was an update since then.

Holy smokes, you totally ROCKED that book haul, Holly!!! I see a few I'd love to read, too, like Mystic River, Relic, Portrait Of A Killer, and David Copperfield. Happy reading, buddy!:)
Thanks Dustin!! If I would have kept browsing, I know that I would have left with way more books than I did, lol. I guess I did get some pretty good ones. Thanks buddy! :)
Yes, you got some wonderful ones! Your book hauls are ALWAYS awesome. Hehe, I know what you mean! Whenever I'm at Goodwill I end up buying like 5 books!
Hehe, thanks. I've been doing it a Goodwill lately, as well. As a matter of fact, I should make another trip over there sometime soon. ;)
I haven't been there since last fall, actually, but you know I'd love to go back. I'm still working on the books I picked up then. Once I finish I Know This Much Is True I'll be free to tackle Missing Mom.
So I did get to join BookLook Bloggers and ordered my first review book and it came today. It is called Storm Siren. It is a beautiful cover.
I am trying to not buy any books just now, not going well though. i bought
and I read
so i bought the rest of the series.
Holly I love bargain books so much. I always find great stuff too. Rarely do I ever buy new books.
Janie wrote: "Holly I love bargain books so much. I always find great stuff too. Rarely do I ever buy new books."I'm the same way Janie, I don't buy new books unless I get a gift card or fun money.
Janie wrote: "Holly I love bargain books so much. I always find great stuff too. Rarely do I ever buy new books."Me too!!!! They're the greatest. :)
Holly wrote: "Picked up

I was going to order it online, but I saw it in the bookstore and just couldn't pass it up. Yep, he wrote Goosebumps. I used to love reading those as a kid. I also used to watch the show. I can't wait to read this!!

Oh yeah I forgot there was a show on it, I also saw a while back you got Mystic River, I heard that's a good book, have you seen the movie?
Holly wrote: "I've heard it's good, too. Can't wait to read that, either! No, I haven't seen the movie. Have you?"Yes I think I own it, it's good, but I recommend reading the book first, which unfortunately I saw the movie first, LOL!

Holly wrote: "I've heard it's good, too. Can't wait to read that, either! No, I haven't seen the movie. Have you?"Oh, man! Once you've read Mystic River, you will HAVE to see the film, it is amazing, Holly! One of my favorites.

Tim Robbins was awesome in it too.

Yes, Tim Robbins is amazing in it, too. The entire cast, really. Just thinking about it now gives me shivers!
The other day I bought Knife Edge, and then today I bought Checkmate and Double Cross. I already had Noughts & Crosses so now I have another full set :)I also bought Fantasy Lover by Sherrilyn Kenyon, Dark Fire, Dark Magic, Dark Destiny, Dark Melody, Predatory Game and The Twilight Before Christmas by Christine Feehan, and Fire by Kristin Cashore. All of that only cost me a grand total of £2! A local charity shop was closing for a refurb and selling books for 20p each, I think I was in heaven haha. Both Feehan and Kenyon were authors I was recommended by a friend of mine, so they were GREAT finds!
And then, on top of all that, my good bookworm friend gave me a copy of The Battle of the Labyrinth as she had it as a double.
It's been a good week for books :)
Happy Bookworm over here!

No problem, Corey. And do keep us posted once you've read them. I'd be particularly interested in your take on Almost Dead.
