Nice haul Jessie! I hope you enjoy the Sandman Slim series. I had to abandon the first book cause it was just not for me, I did not enjoy it at all. I had the first 3 in the series and sold them to my local UBS.

So yesterday I went to Good will and got 4 books, so it is just a mini haul. I got:

Twisted: The Collected Stories
Garden of Beasts
Buried Prey
A Certain Slant of Light

Kelly (and the Book Boar) One (the only???) good thing about my in-laws visiting this weekend was their addiction to finding new junk stores = I found more places to buy books : )

message 2154: by Veronica (new)

Veronica (veraj121) | 328 comments I plan on revisiting Native Son by Richard Wright. Such a powerful read.

message 2155: by Victor (new)

Victor I got Panic by Lauren Oliver today. I'm a little late to to this month's Booksplosion read so hopefully I can join in on the April readalong.

Kelly (and the Book Boar) Veronica - glad it's good enough to want to read twice. I had a dead phone so I was going by memory that I thought Native Son was on my to read list. After I read the synopsis I knew I needed to read it.

Kit★ (xkittyxlzt) | 345 comments Went to a Goodwill tonight in hopes I'd score big. Well, ended up with two for myself, Three Maids for a Crown A Novel of the Grey Sisters by Ella March Chase and Short Stories of Jack London Authorized One-Volume Edition by Jack London . But found like 10 books for the kiddo, so it was ok, if not as satisfying as I'd hoped :p

Well Ashleigh, the way I look at it, you will never run out of things to read! The more I have the happier I am and I am thinking my mind will not change on that anytime soon either! LOL Enjoy the sales.

I've read quite a few of his books Janie. Alex Delaware is on the top of my favorite protagonist list. :)

I really like his writing style. Have you read any of his books?

I've read a couple of his novels that aren't Alex Delaware ones, and I enjoy them too.

A great author!
