So Have 8 books ordered which are Enclave, Outpost, Under the Never Sky, Through the Ever Night, and then also the next 4 books to the Joe Ledger series, The Dragon Factory, The King of Plagues, Assassin's Code, and Extinction Machine. Then today we went to Good Will and I got Body of Lies, 3rd Degree, The 8th Confession, Finders Keepers, No Second Chance, Hold Tight, Live To Tell, On Mystic Lake, and Winter Garden. Yesterday Hub bought me a new book case and I don't think it will take long to fill it up.

Wow...you did an awesome haul!!! :)"Thanks Kathryn, I've been keeping my eye out for a nice illustrated copy so I was glad to find it in an op shop - it was only $0.50!

I used to love the SV books too. I had so many of them that I gave away when I finished reading them. I've been collecting them again just for a bit of fun :)
Janie wrote: "So Have 8 books ordered which are Enclave, Outpost, Under the Never Sky, Through the Ever Night, and then also the next 4 books to the..."Nice one Janie! I haven't heard of any of them lol! I need a new bookshelf too, mine are all absolutely jam-packed!
Thanks Michelle, Well Enclave and Outpost are pretty new dystopian novels from Ann Aguirre and I have been wanting them for quite some time. The other 2 new ones are by Veronica Rossi and I have heard a lot of great stuff about them. Another dystopian series. (I love them) Then the rest are pretty much suspense novels by Patterson, Johansen and Coben. The other ones are from a new author for me Kristin Hannah. She has beautiful artwork on her covers too. I just need to try out one of the books. I first discovered her stuff when I was on vacation in Indiana when I found Fly Away, or actually my sister found it for me. I saw the cover first read the synopsis and then I could just not resist it.
Sounds like you've got some great books there Janie, I'll be looking forward to hearing what you think of them. I love books with pretty covers :)

i haven't read firefly lane but it is a popular book of hers.
Thanks for letting us know that, Rachel! Now I'm wondering if I have the first book and didn't get them confused...LOL. I am going to have to go check.
Well my next visit to the UBS I will look for Hannah and get the first book because I am really wanting to read these.
Yeah, Kristin Hannah's covers are really pretty for the most part. The other one I picked up, "Night Road" is pretty, as well.
i really like her covers too.i liked Night Road-a good story that made me cry- look forward to hearing what you think of it.
A while ago I bought The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald which I read this weekend. It was so good!!!When I bought TGG I also bought Hyperbole and a Half by Allie Brosch. I am almost done with it. It is super funny!
Today I got a late X-Mas present. I got a cool Barnes and Noble Classics edition of The Complete Poems and Tales of Edgar Allen Poe. It is so cool! I was wondering how my Aunt knew I wanted it and found out my sneaky Mom took note of it the last time we were at B&N. Which was awhile ago.
Glad you enjoyed Gatsby Victor, I read it last year and it was one of my favourites for 2013 :)That is soooo awesome that you got the B&N Classics edition of Poe! I've been wanting their collectible editions of Grimm's Fairy Tales and Hans Christian Andersen's Classic Fairy Tales.

I want those too. I also really want the Complete Sherlock Holmes:) Gatsby was so wonderful and then really sad:(
Me too Victor! I picked it up and looked at it longingly when I was at the bookstore the other day!Yes, I agree totally about Gatsby. Have you seen the movie?
I think you'll be really glad you read the book first. I hope you get to watch it soon - when you do, let me know what you think :)
Have just got my copy of
. Got it from Bookmooch a swap site. The book is in excellent condition and is one of those paperbacks that is soft and easy to hold. Can't wait to get into this as part of my series challenge with you all.
Victor glad you enjoyed the Great Gatsby! I have not seen the movie or read the book yet. One of these days though I think I will.
Shell I could have picked up that exact copy Grimm's Complete for $9.99 but I didn't because I wanted so many other books that I would devour. I feel like I would have bought that one more for decoration. LOL

I loved Gatsby when we had to read it in school. Always wanted a copy. So when my lil brother got to that grade and had to read it, he conveniently forgot to turn his copy back in, and gave it to me. I love my brother, lol xD
I bought another hardcover copy of The Goldfinch because I ripped the cover from my other copy trying to get a stupid sticker off of it...and looking at the destroyed copy kind of made me mental...lolThis one has no sticker...so I am at peace. :)

Delee wrote: "I bought another hardcover copy of The Goldfinch because I ripped the cover from my other copy trying to get a stupid sticker off of it...and looking at the destroyed copy kind of m..."I'd love to know what you think of it. It seems like a good book but there's mixed reviews on it so I'm curious. Don't want to waste money on something that will disappoint!
It is a mystery...I haven't read it yet. It does have reaaaaaaaaaaally mixed reviews. I loved her other book The Secret History!
