I paid full for those though lol.
Janie I would read it ASAP lol
It will have to wait, I have too many books lined up for this month. LOL But then again I never read the books I buy right away.
Ordered Bizenghast Volumes 5 & 6 from Amazon just now. I don'usually do graphic novels, but this is fantasy, so it's different LOL. And Monday is my birthday, so I'm going to travel to Books-A-Million (an hour and a half...it's the closest) then!!!!! :)
Bought about 50 Sweet Valley books today LOL! They were super cheap - I'll never read them but I have this thing about collecting them all. Call me crazy. Must be a hangover from my childhood hahaha :S
LOL Michelle! They were very popular books when they first hit the shelves. My youngest daughter started reading them years ago, and then well she quit. She also liked the babysitter club books when she was actually reading.
Lol! I used to love Sweet Valley and Babysitters Club when I was a kid. And the Boxcar Children, and Goosebumps... Good times :)
My friends and I loved the Sweet Valley books when we were in primary school/early high school I read one of the new ones a few months back and it was terrible! I didn't remember the writing being so bad! There's an op shop near work that has boxes full of Goosebumps books for 20c each... I've been thinking of getting them... I think I just love collecting things lol.

So I kinda took Kathryn's thoughts and put it to use and spent the money I saved from purchasing HOL through Amazon rather than B&N and I got The Snowman, Gotcha!, The Butcher's Theater, Double Cross, & Ghost Walk. So now I get to reap the rewards of sensible shopping. And it takes away the sting of having to be patient!
Just made a killing at Goodwill... Again!! You can't go wrong with $1 per book. The Devil in the White City: Murder, Magic, and Madness at the Fair that Changed America
The ABC Murders
The Burning Wire
Mrs. Dalloway
Blue World
Gone South
Stinger
duplicate of The Talented Mr Ripley and another Goosebumps book... :D
Well looks like we both scored on books Alondra. Mine were $1 too accept for The Snowman that was $2. But I started reading it on the way home and it was pretty good so far. Still no HOL today WTH?

Still no HOL today WTH?"You need to contact Amazon and find out what the deal is.. this is ridiculous. I don't care if you were waiting on Stitches and Buttons; you need to get your stuff in a timely manner... :/
I agree with Alondra. If it's past the estimated delivery date, then send a message to the seller first. Amazon won't help you if don't do that. I made that mistake once, and they told me I need to contact the seller, then Amazon if nothing happens. That wasted a weekend for me because I hadn't contacted the seller first. Hopefully your seller purchased a tracking number for themselves and they can look it up to let you know where it is.
My estimated delivery date is Oct 10 - Oct 28. So not much I can do till we get past that. But if it does not arrive by the 28th (which is ridiculous) then I will contact the seller.
I'd say Fantasy, but not the Hobbits and Elves and grand quest sort. More like a fairy tale, but modern, no castles and dragons and stuff. It's also kinda humorous too. :)
Just ordered some books online...

All the classics are illustrated by Robert Ingpen - such beautiful artwork.
I know that feeling well. Always something awesome when waiting for the Post! I tend to get super excited too!
Thanks! It was only 6 months late in being published. They're also planning editions of Pet Sematary, Carrie (40th ann), Skeleton Crew, and Thinner.
