Have put as "S..."
They don't get merged. And books ONLY need to have both versions of her name if they have been editions published under both. Otherwise, they're no reason to do so (and it gets confusing).

this author needs the quotes removing and a space adding after B5. He does use B5 on his books but not in quotes.http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/...
