I'm pretty sure these two are the same person:

I realize they have a different last name, but the same book is on both profiles, and the author even uses the other last name on his GR author profile, in his bio. Also, a photo of him is on the book cover :)

They are different authors. Books moved and disambiguated.

They may be the same person, but I wouldn't merge the profiles. I did put a link from the non-GR profile to the other one, though.

That second author does not only have books belonging to the GR author, but mostly ones that don't. One or two books need editing, not a profile merge.

I don't think the illustrator is the same person. The other book(s) need editing, not a profile merge.
