We often get stuck while working on a new book, but I find that if I'm unsure about how the next chapter should evolve I move on to a further chapter. I implement a tight timeline (4-6 days) for all of my books, and keeping time of the days helps keep me on track with what needs to happen as I move toward climaxes.(less)
