I read this book when I was in Grade School. It was really short. It was about a girl who for some reason has to go stay with a relative (I believe an uncle). He is like a mad scientist or something and has an extremely odd mansion or house. She has to go through the house (I'm not sure why, if he's missing or something?) and there are all kinds of weird rooms, like a spiral room, an upside down room, etc. I'm sorry, that's really about all I can remember. I don't know if this helps, but I believe the paperback version I had was red, with a picture of the house on the cover. I had thought the book was called something like, "Scared Silly," but when I googled that, it turned out not to be the same book. Thanks!

How long ago was grade school for you so haave a better time frame to work with?
Ah, good point, I believe it would have been somewhere between 1986 and 1989ish.
