Speaking of Twitter, I wonder if this is really Christopher Walken? It's excellent, whoever it is. http://twitter.com/cwalken

I just heard Utah changed its liquor laws:http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/29777493/
The goal is to boost tourism and make the state appear a little less odd
Heh.

Heh...and good morning...well said, Dan...Right now I'm smelly again. I'm working at home this morning, then going to observe a teacher this afternoon.
I'm counting down to my lunchbreak! I'm going to meet a friend at Caffe Bossa Nova, a local Brazilian restaurant. OMG, let me just say that their Arroz com Feijões and Pão de Queijo is THE best I've ever had (having lived in Houston, I can say that I've had a great bit of sampling of ethnic cuisine, esp. the Brazilian fare - a small Lebanese cafe on Westheimer is my fave).
p.s. an update - Robby (I'm sure the meds helped) and Mom slept GREAT last night... we went to bed at 8ish and slept in until 6:15. :) He seems like his old self again, already. (I posted those in the wrong thread, RA... clearly)
Yay for Robby! :DAlso for sleep!
I also slept great last night! Relatively, at least. Because I may suck at math, but I know 6 hr >>> 0.

But if your off topic long enough your back on topic.
Can I just say that it warms my heart to know that TC group members cheer for doggies? :D You guys and gals are great, super... the best!
Well Batman was eating cheese while having a meeting with the mayor of Gotham City when he had to go to the bathroom and quantum physics took over.
nice jim.maybe bruce wayne was discussing maxwell's laws of classical electromagnetism as it relates to wayne industries with a lobbyist over some brie and wine
Yeah, I was trying not to give away any secrets.

You're also wearing this, by the way:http://www.costumeshopper.com/Merchan...
Except maybe with a fruit hat.
Good to hear, Nools!Right now I'm in my pajamas and might watch Rachel Getting Married while the boys hit their school's movie night. Today was a good day. I observed a student from Tanzania work with a group of seventh graders. The student is a nun, very sheltered and traditional. She struggles with English, too. But the kids were SO respectful of her while she taught, and she looked like she was having fun for the first time in months. Days like today make the gig worthwhile.
Now I'm going to get drunk to celebrate.
Poor Matthew. Freshman year is hard! It gets better.
I am back from walking over to the Post Office, and almost got blown away. I guess it IS March.I am okay with rain, by itself. However, I hate walking in windy AND rainy weather, which turns my umbrella into an opponent. A self-destructive one, at that.
Yup, just my thought too, Jackie, it is very March outside! Add some sun, then torrential rain, then more sun, and it's a typical Seattle March day. But spring is in the air so I'm a happy girl.Matthew - freshman year is the worst.
But March should be going out like a lamb soon. It's very lamb-like here today, but a storm is supposed to hit tomorrow.
Poor Matthew. Freshman year is hard! It gets better. I hope so, Montambo. This year has been unbelievably difficult. I think about what a privilege it is to be able to attend this school. I feel guilty about disliking it. I mean, what about those 25,000+ others who were rejected? Would they like it? Do I deserve to be here? I know that I'm only an hour away from home, but it feels like I'm across the country.
It certainly is, Lori. I wonder where I'll be next fall. Sophomore year...I certainly hope it's a lot better than this year. I'm turning 19 in four days. 18 was a rotten year. Maybe things will be better. Maybe I'm too optimistic?
I wish TV land had an Andy Griffith show marathon on tonight. The kids and I will have to watch our small collection of the Andy Griffith show DVD's. Beats watching the suite life of Zach and Cody or Hannah Montana.
:)That'd be lovely, Sarah.
I'm not going be such a baby about school. Things can only go up from here.
You're welcome to visit.
Matthew, maybe you just don't belong in Princeton? It might not be the right atmosphere for you. Well this year is almost over, maybe next year you'll settle in. And you are taking such a load of classes, so you've not had time to meet people. But yeah, freshman year can be so lonely.
I want to belong. I'm supposed to belong. It was my first choice. If I don't like it, what does that say about me?
