Dimitri and Rose.
btdubs adrian doesnt "love" rose he just wants a chance to date her cuz he has a crush

He may not have said that he loves her, but I think he more then just want to "hook up". He's a rich handsome guy, a playboy and I'm sure that some of the appeal is that she keeps telling him no. But I think that he really cares about her.
So excited after reading the ending of this book. It really sets up the story for the next 2. Noticed how Dimitri almost was himself when he was holding the ring that was infused with spirit? Then Rose found out a story about Victor Dashkov's half brother who claimed he brought back a Strigoi to life by using spirit. It makes sense that Victor might know more information, he let his daughter Natalie turn herself into a Strigoi in the first book to help him, and he was not concerned at all. I thought at first it might be because he's evil, but maybe he had a way to restore her to her former self?? He also new all about Rose and the Shadow Kiss effect it had on her. He knew all of that information. SO, hopefully, Rose and Lissa are able to find some way to restore Dimitri back by any information Victor might have, and then him and Rose can finally be together!!I like Adrian, but its not the same as Dimitri! Even though he was a jerk in this book (but, he's a Strigoi, you can't expect anything less).

I think Adrian's crush has evolved and he is falling for rose for real. And I think they will try to bring him back to life (Dimitri) but he won't want to so she will end up killing him. It's so frusterating because mead has altered his character so much it's hard to belive he can truely come back. And what about Adrian? Someone is going to be unhappy and I'd rather someone be dead (cough cough, Dimitri)
And I can't wait to see what mead will do with this Robert character, all I can say is I am soo ready for a distraction from all this Dimitri disapointment, bring on the spirit! Wooooot! Lol! :D
Aww I don't want Dimitri to die! It sux cause I was ready for Rose to start moving on, but then the note comes and now I really want him to be saved. I don't think he put "Love D" to taunt her. I'm not sure why, but that can't be the reason. He wants to be with her forever, so he's not completely heartless.
i think dimitri doesnt want to kill rose but he needs to be saved then rose will understand again why she went through all that trouble for him
I'm just glad she didn't go Strigoi. I really didn't want that to happen to Rose. No matter what they say, the Strigoi are twisted in their own ways. Rose won't be Rose if she loses her soul.

I still wonder why Sydney just left like that. I thought it was Abe's fault, but he wasn't really the bad guy. And who the heck is Nathan?! I know he's the blonde Strigoi and everything, but Mead didn't like elaborate on how Rose's even knew him at all. I wanted her to like get Christian to set him on fire or something.

Ok... SPOILER IF YOU HAVENT YET READ BLOOD PROMISE:I was never a fan of Adrian and Rose.. I was always Dimitri and Rose, but Dimitri seamed like a totally, selfish DICK in this book. He kept saying "Oh it's amazing. I'm gonna turn you so we can be together. " There might be a chance that whatever happened with Victor's half brother is like what happened with Dimitri, but Adrian was sooo cute at the end and I think I dont like the new Dimitri.. I like the new Adrian though! He's tempting and romantic and he's definitely matured through BLOOD PROMISE. I dont get what the title has to do with it though..
For Now, Im Team Adrian ...

so this I'm kind of disappointed, I read the book too fast and now I have to wait another 6mo to a year to read the next book (sigh)
As for Nathan,I hoped he would be killed by Rose herself.she should have tortured him to death!it was all his fault that Dimitri got like this.but honestly guys,don't go mad at Dimitri because how he acted in BP.it's just because he's a strogoi and he can't help it.I'm sure if he'll be brought back to life, he'll return to his old self.
urghh,the part that he said 'That's what I was supposed to say' and then his fall made me cry!it was so sad.I can't say how much I became happy when Rose got his note.I truly hope spirit can bring him back to life.
and well,why not tell the truth??I liked him a bit this way.I'm really tired of innocent super hero lovers in the books,like Edward Cullen.a bit darkness in romances would add to the excitement.like how Dimitri bit Rose a few times.I loved those parts!:D
but well,of course,in the end anything would better get back to normal.super heros again in the end!

I remember when everyone got mad at me when I said I was team Adrian and Blood Promise never came out. I always liked him better than Dimitri and now more people like Team Adrian *sigh* I got cussed out for no reasonQuestion: I'm confused about the ring? Can someone explain please? =)

Sorry, but I can't just leave Dimitri for Adrian after one book. I don't care if he's Strigoi now, because if Mead didn't already kill him in this book, you know Rose isn't gonna be able to live without him. Love Adrian, but not with Rose. He doesn't get her like Dimitri does.

If you havent read the book dont read onI think that Rose is going to give Adrien a chance while she is at school, she will try to make it work but can never commit herself fully. So her and Lissa will set out together possibly with Adrien and Christian. Dimka will find her and Lissa will be unable to do anything without hurting both of them so Adrien with so much love for Rose will help save Dimka so that Rose can be truly happy he will sacrafice everything to save her out of love.

haha I always thought Adrian was adorable but yeah he's way up top now. And the ring was infused with spirit, healing powers. So when Dimitri touched it it kind of livened him up a bit. Like lissa healed rose and brought her back to life, the same concept, that's why I belive in the "fairy tale" mark andoksena were taking about.

okay um Naya. . . in the book Rose said that once he held the ring the red ring around his eyes got dimmer. and that he looked more like himself. so it was spirit that did that. . . which takes us back to our previous hypothesis that spirit is gonna have a lot to do with blood promise and spirit bound. and i think it is called blood promise cuz Dimitri drank Rose's blood, but he didnt kill her (and she didnt become a blood whore!!!!) and i think he promised himself to not kill her just get her high enough to say yes to her being awakend. because member how she always thought. 'even when i was high i still said no. and that makes me feel like some part of me was still their (when she was high)' lol not the exact words but pretty close
:D so that is why i think he kept drinking her blood. cuz he didnt want to turn her by force, as he said he was going to let her choose willingly, (and even if she was high, she still would have said yes which is willingly. but she never did! yay! :D ) but if she didnt choose in time he would have awakend her by choice.

they can not touch the stakes that are elementaly powered but Dimka had no problem touching the ring that Rose had that was full of spirit and also he sent the stake back to Rose there is something to it, maybe something that his Grandmothers dream fore shadowed a bit or the tarot reader. If they are ment to be together maybe he can withstand those powers of silver and element some.
i know right! and that is what confused me Peep that he touched the stake (sorry quick ? how big is a stake? it never says! it says that when she was fighting the extra length of the stake gave her reach to kill sm1 but its small enough to fit in her jacket wth that confussed me!) so how did he touch it? could it be that the magic wore off?
Strigoi can't withstand the power of all four elements, he could handle the ring because it was only spirit infused. As for the stake who knows? We all know Dimitri is very powerful and he probably didn't hold the stake for hours hahahaha
Maybe it has to do with how stong the person was before it carries over. Like his emotion even though strigoi usually are just ruthless killers. But Dimka held back and didnt kill her, maybe he really did bring himself to the strigoi life maybe theres more to the being dead and souless then there has been descibed. Maybe not so souless if he stops killing and chooses only to feed like Morei
