I'm not sure. What I'm hoping is that somehow Rose can find a way to turn Dimitri back into a dhampir! wouldn't that be amazing?? if only......
I KNOW!she will probably use her shadow kissed abilities with the St Vlad's people.. and possible Victor's!
MAYBE, MAYBE ROSE IS PREGNANT WITH DIMITRI'S BABY!!!
That would take a miracle but still.
Lol, i don't think thats whats going to happen. Here is what i think.... I think that Lissa is going to sneak off and follow Rose on her journey to find Dimitri. Then, Rose is going to find Dimitri, who is indeed a Strigoi now, and she is going to stake him. When she stakes him, Lissa is going to use her healing powers to bring him back to life and it's going to take so much of her strenght that she is going to die. Or maybe the new character Sydney will have powers and save Dimitri. It's kind of sad but I would personally rather have Rose and Dimitri back together forever than Rose become a nobody with out any friends hardly. I can't wait for the fourth book to see what really does happen though. 
In one way, I really hope Rose can turn Dimitri good or whatever. But, i don't know how Mead's gonna do that with out making the book really predictable and corny. I hope Lissa becomes less self-centered too. And, for that mater, the rest of the vamps that rule over dhampir (forgot what there called)
Yes, if dimitri can somehow come back to life it would be great. and yes, lissa really needs to think about rose for once instead of herself!! wait, courtney, what new character?? i hope lissa doesn't die, but honestly, it's sad, but I'd rather have dimitri.

And, that would be a fantastic ending too. But I just want Rose and Dimitri to be together without being shadow kissed to people. Like Rose is already with Lissa and everything and Rose left her, WHEN Dimitri turns back to being a dhampir (Yes, I say when not if)I doubt he can leave his guardian duties behind. But then again, it all depends on his love for Rose.
I know I'm SO F*****G excited about the fourth book that I keep forgetting about the fifth book. But still, nothing could have been worse than the third books ending. Absolutely gutted.
As for Lissa, she needs to rethink her priorities and her best friends one too.

yeah! all lissa is worried about is herself! she needs to see how much rose really loves dimitri and accept it! rose accepted christian! and i was sooooo mad when dimitri got hurt and then disappeared. she has to find him.but i do think that them finally having sex was a big point and some kind of consequence is going to come from that. not sure wat, cuz dhampirs cant have babies together, can they? but something is going to happen.
and she is sooo going to find dimitri cuz hes her other half and she cannot b w/o him. And shes shadow kissed, so maybe he could be too. or lissas healing powers save him somehow. cuz she has to have them for a reason. of course, theres also adrian. maybe he gets more powers.
wat i would hate to see is rose getting together with adrian. its just...not that good of a couple. he mite die, cuz hes a more minor character...hmmm...
and theres supposed to be at least 5 bks and blood promise is the 4th. so that means that itll lead to another, so there is hope for the couple.
yes, there is so much that can happen. dimitri WILL come back though. another thing that could happen if he wasn't killed and then healed again is that maybe his love for rose could overpower the strigoi senses. Yes, it would just NOT work with adrian...i feel bad and think he is sorta cool but...no. dimitri is better.
I'm worried lissa might die. because i know rose will lose SOMEONE i just hope its not dimitri.

No. That was the best of all cliff hangers, I think.
I absolutely love this series! I cannot wait till the 4th book comes out. I am hoping Rose finds Dimitri again(I mean she just has too, right?) I cried my eyes out when he was attacked and then went missing! I am thinkin' that maybe Adrian will have a way of helping Rose do this. He was after all working on the "healing" with Lissa even though he wasn't as good at it as Lissa (yet?). If Lissa won't do it(very selfish by the way!) maybe Adrian will help? I can only hope someone does, I just can't see her with anyone else.

I loved the series! cliff hangers are the important part!!! What I think, Rose will fing Dimitri. She has to. WHen I read that Dimitri go hurt and was turned into a Strigoi, I almost died. I couldnt believe that he was turned. And when his fortune came up in the end, I thought is was rose he was going to lose! Something told me that something would happen between Rose and Dimitri. When they had sex, I was happy for them. I hope Rose finds Dimitri! It wouldnt seem right without Dimitri. If Lissa were to follow Rose on her journey to find Dimitri, you know that means Christian will be with her. I would like to know if there will be problems with rose and lissa(if she does follow rose).
I cant wait till the book comes out. In my opinion, Rose and Dimitri are on a higher level then Bella and Edward. dont get me wrong, I love the twilight series too. I just cant wait for the fourth book to come out.
I hated the way the thrid book ended. How it said, 'I was off, off to kill the man I love', That made me fall over. I dont think Rose will kill him, kill him. I agree with courtney! Rose will stake him and Lissa will have to try to bring him back.
I would like for Dimitri to come back. He has to!!! And I can not see rose with anyone else!!! It would be wrong!!!
I want Rose to find Dimitri really bad however I think when she does she will stake him, I do not think Lissa can bring him back though because even if she is willing to won't he just be Strogoi again? I think Rose is going to end up with Adrian whether we like it or not I think Dimitri is finished unfortunately =( I mean I like Adrian but its definitely not the same... remember Rose's reading by the psychic you will destroy what is undead so i think it might be relating to Dimitri I can not wait for the fourth book to come so we can see what is really going to happen

NOOOO! But Mara, when the fortune teller said that Rose will destroy the undead... The keyword is destroy... NOT necessarily kill. So in saying that, Rose may be able to destroy all of the strigoi altogether and somehow return them all to their original form- moroi or dhampir.As for Adrian, it just can't be like that.
It's Rose and Dimitri. Otherwise it would've been Rose and Mason ages ago if Dimitri and her weren't supposed to be together.. or Mead would've put Adrian in already.
I think Lissa, Adrian and Sydney.. (i think she is a spirit user too) AND of course Rose and maybe Victor too will play a big part in taking down the strigoi.
Cause if the spirit users can bring back people from the dead then why not the undead? If one take Rose from deaths arms.. It's possible.
There has to be a way, it just can't be the end of Dimitri.

Victor may play a role, but though he may help, he will always be after lissa.
I predict it will end in one of the main characters death, just please, PLEASE, let it not be dimitri. Rose is nothing without him, and he is just amazing. I cannot even imagine how their encounter is, well actually I can. If only he could become a dhampir again, i know it can happen!!

I was rereading Frostbite last night.. And I think (unless I was half asleep) that in order to turn into a Strigoi, you have to drink from their blood.
Something that Dimitri would never do.
So that's changes everything, if that were the case.
yes, that is true, but a strigoi can force you to drink their blood, right? thats how people get turned strigoi. i know he wouldn't do it on his own will of course, he would have to kill someone and drink their blood in that case.but im not sure, so i will go check that out!!
i love cliff hanges but right now i really really really hate them!!! but rose and demitri just click. i mena Edward and Bella (Twilight) just don't click in their relationshipe. But Twilight and VA both rock.

the strigoi can turn you into one if they drink your blood and make you drink theres. so they could turn dimitri into one. because i knoooow dimitri would never kill someone and drain them of their blood!!
also since mason said that dimitri is a strigoi, we know he is one. but the question is.....................

here is my theoriesin the 3rd book think about with the blond hair strogi said that he knew rose and lissa. he told him that it would be a thing to kill lissa the last one in her faamily. then he dissapeared. Now go back to when dimitri got caught in the caves on the rescue mission. the same blond strogi saw how much
rose cared for him. he could be holding dimitri to get to rose because he wants lissa.
mason could have been lying to rose because he didnt want her killed or in trouble

But, Mason knows that Rose wouldn't stop either way until she say Dimitri's body for herself.
So either way he couldn't have done anything to stop her from leaving the Academy.
Although, Mason could've still lied.. although who knows why (Mead does) ... he won't get anything out of it.
I swear if Dimitri dies im hunting Mead down! HE CANT DIE!!Im going along with that theory that Rose will stake him and SOMEONE i dont care who! will use spirit to bring him back to life. Mead writes the most unpredictable books i have ever read so i guess we wont find out for MONTHS what happens and it kills me!!

i'm so depressed..i'm close to saying that if Dimitri goes I go to...I will simply stop reading the books..well maybe not..but if he doesn't end up with rose..i will cry my eyes out..and i will have a bias mind about the books...i hope that there is some way he can become good..anyway! just that he survives and is with rose...without dimitri her life sucks...and even i know that..and i'm not in the book..but if i was something would go down between me and lissa..her auttitude based from the end NEEDS to change..but yeah..dimitri needs to come back..i cant wait till the 25!!!

This is long sorry but i have 2 theories1) at the end all we know is that dimitri is missng and going on what mason said he is strigoi but wat if he isnt? wat if he is prisoner? it could be a trap maybe they know rose will go to him and lissa will follow. I dont really believe this but it is an idea.
2) he is strigoi and has somehow gone back to siberia with his family but i think that because it is dimitri he will probably be good or something. christian will probably convince lissa to help or they will follow. either way i dont think rose could ever kill dimitri he is too big a character to be gone.

Either way Dimitri is a big, big part of the book. If a main character did die. I don't know. But I do know that I don't want it to be Dimitri or Rose. Everything else bareable.
And about the whole Dimitri being a prisoner to lure Rose. I think you might be just on to something. Perhaps, the blonde Strigoi saw how persistent and determined Rose is and wants her as one of them aswell. I mean, Dimitri himself does not have that kind of will power. Remember in the first book how Victor said that Rose was magnificent and all because she was impulsive? That she does everything as she wants because she experienced death first hand? Perhaps that's why? Or like Kayla said.. To trade Dimitri for Lissa.
And I know, that Mason is all dead and everything. But, if his main purpose was just to warn Rose about everything cause he just lingers around. How was he supposed to know that Dimitri was a Strigoi, when did ghosts suddenly get psychic abilities?

Whats is with all the sad enddings in VA? In VA Rose and Dimitri can't be togather, in frostbite Mason dies (witch really f***n' sucked), and in shadow kiss all this stuff with Rose dealin with. So, yeah blood promise will probly have a sad ending.
Anyway, Dimitri, Rose, or Lisa just can NOT die (it would suck!!!). And hey, a 5th VA is coming out! So, theres hope. Besides, there has to be some type of full filling ending to VA. Dimitri and Rose WILL (thats right, i said will) get a happily ever after, or whatever.

about dimitri being a trap to lure rose so they can get lissa, i think u mite b onto something bc there was another girl who was bitten but not killed.they could have just bitten him to make rose think they killed him but carried him off bc they knew she would come after him..I seriously hope someone uses the healing to heal dimitri somehow!!!!!!!!!

Besides, personall for me... I think any ending that involves Rose and Dimitri in the same surroundings ALIVE is the happiest ending... well, compared to Shadow kiss it was.
Just going to be humble until the 4th books comes out. Rose and Dimitri alive and inlove is better than no Rose and Dimitri at all.
you definitely could be on to something...im going to reread the books again and see if any, ANY hints are given. See, how would Mason know that?? He may be trying to keep rose safe, yet mason knows rose, and knows she would never quit just because she thinks he's a strigoi.
So that leaves 2 options:
1. Dimitri is a strigoi
2. He is lying in hope of saving her, or because he is jealous(very unlikely mason is too cool for that!) or for some reason that we are not aware of yet....
I just really hope that dimitri and rose can be together, without complications.
OK, so i think lissa and christian will follow, I REALLY hope so anyway!!! Because Rose needs someone to help her, thats for sureee.

Ok, here is my theory.Remember when rose was on the plane and there was a shadow behind Andre and he was motioning towards it. i think that might be a key point. i think rose is going to go into the shadow into the land of t he dead or the spirit world or whatever and rescue dimitri's soul.
I think Adrian is going to be a big help. i think he is gonna be one of rose's main allies. i think christian will want to help too he seems to be one of the most unselfish Moroi. Maybe we'll see more of Mia too since she hates the Stragoi so much for her mothers death and has been traning.
I also think rose will get some info out of Victor in the first book he tells her that he has been researching her abilities being shadow kissed. i think he knows a lot more than we think. maybe how to save dimitri or enter the land of the dead?
just a thought though. i actually drempt some of it and expanded. im rereading for further clues.
I don't think that Mason lied because he just wouldn't and then he would be cruel. I think that Rose will find Dimitri and see him as a Strigoi and then back out of killing him. Then Dimitri can't attack either. Then Lissa will sneak out and try to get to Rose but is then captured by Strigoi. Then Dimitri and Rose will try to be together but can't.Then after that, Rose gets Lissa and comes back to st. valdimirs and then they get in trouble. Adrian gets really happy and asks Rose out. Rose will say yea and but only because she promised him that she would give him a chance. After the first date she probaly can't get rid of her feelings for Dimitri and backs out on her deal. Dimitri will probaly try to come back but gets locked out by the wards. So then she comes and meets him at the gates. He probaly then will ask her to come with him. She goes and then that will probaly be the end of the book and then the 5th book will be on there journey or something like that. That is my idea!! But i really hoped that Adrian and Rose would be together after she kills Dimitri but that probally won't happen because Richelle Mead doesn't seem to be the kind of writer to have every thing work out and always has a lot of mystery in the vampire academy books at the end of each one. Please post any ideas anyone has.
I agree with Cc. That seems unpredictable and that's Mead's style of writing so it fits... I mean DIMITRI CAN'T DIE!!!! I will seriously lay down and die if Dimitri doesn't live. Lissa should really stop being so selfish!!!! Honestly, does she never pay attention? Because she never noticed that Rose and Dimitry were in love either!!! Rose has given up a lot for Lissa and Lissa should learn to stop being selfish. If it's possible that Lissa could heal Dimitri after Rose stakes him and he will come back a dhampir.... that would be amazing!!! But the book is only 272 pages so a lot can't be happening. Lissa and Christian will definitely be following Rose!!! I mean, Lissa can't survive without Rose and Christian is always up for an adventure. BUT DIMITRI BETTER NOT DIE!!!!!!!!!!! That's my main point because I'm sure that I, and many other people like me, will die along with him!

I bet Dimitri is gonna live, he is too big of a character in Rose's life to die. But we will just have to wait.
Is it at all possible Mason lied?I mean, he was jealous of Adrian with Rose and perhaps his feelings haven't changed towards Rose even though he's ..dead.
So maybe he was jealous of Rose's feelings towards Dimitri and lied about him, hoping (obviously In vain) that she would forget about him because she was grieving too much?
I haven't read shadow-kissed yet, so I don't know..
i have something else.when christan and lissa had sex. it said they used a condom in the book. because lissa asked if christan had one.
but when rose and dimitri had sex it didnt say if they did have a condom or not. so rose could be pregnant but we dont know.
but thats just a guess of mine
1st) dhampir cant have babys. duh said it in the book. and i have a theory on the blood pomise. he he; okay yall know how lissa brought rose back from the dead..... hint, hint
some other girl said that her friend had a dream about how rose is prego. And also dhampirs can have babies.REMEMBER WHO ARE CALLED BLOOD WHORES. blood whores are dhampirs. And also i don't think Mason lied, he's too nice and i don't think would lie to Rose anyway.
