i think mead messed up just a little by Tasha Ozera popping up lik ethat and she just said 1 thing and left and never heard about tasha again. I sorry to say this but maybe mead was just desprate enough to mess that part up a little to save rose which im glad but it sorta threw the book off but other than that it was awesome!!!!!P.S I hate Viktotra(cant spell, and sorry Dimitri) She was such a BICTH when rose was trying to help her and she says to rose that she doesnt know what love is an dthat dimitri could had never loved her.!!@@!@~@~
SPOILER ALERT!All I can say is WOW. It was definitely nothing like I expected it to be. But I still loved it! Hated Dimitri for a little while, but the "killing part" with the bridge killed me.

Dude, I wanted to throw my book against the wall everytime he said "I want you". It just proves he isn't Dimka anymore - But Rose can bring him back to life. It's kinda ironic how much I hated Adrian and Rose together before, but after Rose came back to the Academy and spoke with Adrian, I accepted them together.
Then we get Dimitri's note. The end was just crazy. Amazing and crazy. Loved the whole book. =)
yeah me too i think now that maybe rose and adrain might have a somethin something going on but rose is leaving again so she wont give adrain a chance again!!
it would be annoyin adrian with rose as she will always thnk about dimitri. i was annoyed in the kissin scenes with mason. she was thnkn about dimitri and all the mkn out was goin with her feelngs for dimitri... i thnk adrian will die later in the books

OMFG!I JUST FINISHED THE BOOK AND NOW I WANT TO STAB SOMEONE IN THE FACE!!! It was SO GOOD! But it was agonizing seeing Dimitri in that. trufully I ike the book a lot on how Rachelle made a very wel decription on him. But seeing him in that just made me cry. Three times. And having him BACK! Sure maybe Rose can bring him back (I'm REALLY hoping she will), but what is he gonna think after. I'd be a bit tramaized if I were him, seeing as he's the first Strigoi to turn back to normal (IF HE DOES!). And poor Lissa, I wish Christian will go back to her, but the thing I really hate is that Rachelle NEVER puts that much intersting power in the other elements. Like, can't Christian do some sexy fire breathing thing or something! ^W^ *feeling quite bizarre trying to imagine that XDXDXD lol But I adore/hate this book.

I hated this book. It was completely awful and left me completely pissed off. I don't even know if I'll read the others that will be in the series now because I absolutely loved the first 3 and this one was horrible. Blah. I'm pissed.
i luv this book it is absolutly amazing i'm on page 387 i read 350 pages in 1 day... i luv it but right now dimitri is being a complete jerk...

I have a funny feeling that Adrian is totally not getting his date, lol=) But in a way he's grown on me, and right now he's a sight better than Demitri Strigoi.
i really believe that this "fairy tale" is not so far fetched as mead makes it out to be at the end. rose already has proof that it works to some degree. that tiny bit of spirit magic in the ring affected him enough to make rose notice a complete change in his face and the way he talked. now im not saying that its gonna be super easy and theyre just gonna figure it out and bam, hes all better. i think there is gonna be a catch to it, like he will lose his memory or the spirit user who does it might die, or something drastic like that. id like to hope that it would be super easy and they will all live happily ever after, but mead is not known to just give what her readers want, she suits the story with what it needs,even i its really sad. i also agree that by the middle part i was like, "kill him already, rose. hes evil and you cant change it." i was feeling super optimistic about adrian too. but when it came time for her to actually kill him, i was like, "NOOOO!! This cant be happening! Hes really gone!" i think that something will happen with Adrian and rose, although i dont think they will end up together. but i think that love triangle will be another building block that drives the plot in #5.
and Abe being rose's dad!!? i guess im stupid, but i never even suspected it until Rose figured it out. ugh. but over all, i LOOOOVED it!!!
AHHHHHH!!! So I just finished reading this. Been reading all day, like the last 450 pages. I don't think I have ever read a book that more infuriating. Don't get me wrong, I absolutly LOVED it but I feel like I'm so emotionally attacted to Rose and Dimitri that I was on the roller coaster that was Rose's "life" with Dimitri right along with her. I admitt, I kind of expected the reunion to come at the end of the book (like a major cliffhanger type thing) so when it happened in the middle of it, it caught me off guard (and I too imagined exactly what happened when they met up again!). I'm still not exactly sure how I feel about Rose's time with Dimitri. It certainly made me hate him a little bit. But I feel like I could never bring myself to truely despise him, even if he is evil. Of course, Mead kept bringing him back into the picture so much I almost got whip lash, that by the time I got to the scene on the bridge, I felt a sense of closure (even if I did die a little inside). I really was ready for Rose to go back the Academy and help Lissa pick up the peices of her life. And I was really excited to see what would happen with Adrian. In fact, I'm not sure who i like more right now, Dimitri or Adrian. And I can't believe this happened to again, but I was stone cold shocked that Dimitri wasn't actually dead. Honestly, I don't think my heart can take going through him dying again. I actually stopped reading and cried for like five minutes after the bridge scene.
As for possibly being able to bring him back, I don't know what I think about that. I feel like if they can truely do that, Dimitri might come back a little messed up. I agree that there has to be some catch. I had a little fantasy of Adrian stepping in and healing Dimitri for Rose cause he just cares about her that much and then the effect of it just drives him totally insane. Ah, sweet, silly, love-sick Adrian. How my heart goes out to him.
I think that in Spirit Bound, a majority of the time is going to be spent with Rose and Lissa finishing school. If anything major is going to happen between Rose and Dimitri (like him becoming a dhampir again or Rose really killing him) it won't actually happen until the final book. I feel like Spirit Bound is going to revolve around them trying to find information about bring back a Strigoi.
By the way... this book made me curse so much, I'm sure my neighbors thoroughly hate me now cause they have little kids. And, how much to you HATE Avery? OMG I wanted to kill her. I knew something was off about her from the moment we met her. And I hated how she went after Adrian.

**SPOILER**I agree with Kaykay. I was so angry every time Demitri said that he wanted her, So frustrating! I was also angry when Adrian started acting like he wasn't interested in Rose and was in like awe of Avery. I really like Adrian and loved the end when he said he should ask her mom if he could date her daughter.
I loved the part in the fight with Avery that Rose pictured herself and Dimitri together. I really think that it will might happen in the end, but, becase Lissa and Rose are already bonded. I think that Adrian would be the only one who could do it??? just my guess.
I was so happy that Rose and Lissa finally talked things out, rose told her the whole truth and Lissa said she would go with her if she ever left again. I was really missing their friendship and was upset with how distant they had becomein the past couple books.
OMG, I loved this book and can't wait for the next one!!!

Right now, I'm team Adrian too!!! Something about him, I don't know. I was so mad when he liked Avery, I seriously went to bad sad after the dream where he said he wouldn't be coming back and that Avery wasn't the love em' and leave em' type. I really didn't like Demitri in this book, I understand that he was changed because he's Strigoi (spell?) and that even though he was changed he still cared for Rose, but it was super creepy!
I've gotta say it too! Team Adrian!!!
Oh and ya I totally like Abe too! He's perfect to be Rose's father. I that we see more of him.
I loved the end :) when he said that he was going to add the message that he took to his Pro list (or whatever) he was writing for her :) I've loved Adrian since Frostbite. Oh and I was so relieved that it was only compulsion that made him like Avery. Or made him like her so much anyway.
I agree. . . I think that Adrian deserves a shot and think that Rose is really starting to think so too. I really think that they are still going to try to bring Demitri back and that Adrian is going to have a major part and am worried that he will end up hurt and alone in the end.

LOL, yeah your right too! I love the character's, all of them. I love Demitri as dhampir. He creeped me out as Stragoi of course, but he still showed feelings for rose. Adrian cares about Rose, I think he more then just likes her. But no, the connection is not as deep or intense as with Demitri. There is always a Adrian type character in stories (Jacob in Twiligh, Simon in Mortal istruments, or that one guy in blue bloods) they don't usually "get the girl" but I always feel for them. . .
I will be happy if they turn Demitri back and Rose and him live Happily Ever After. But if that doesn't happen then I want her with Adrian. I think that he really cares for her and would do anything for her.
I was actually disappinted that Dimitri came back. Even though I adored him after the way he changed I just wanted to hit him!!!! Ugh I'm so mad. And yeah man I love Abe!!! Hahaha but in the end they book wasn't as good as it couldve been.:(
And I mean Dimitri shouldn't come back anyway cause rose was finally moving on. Adrian would get his chance. Hopefully the next book will be all about studying the spiri stuff (victor dashkov jailbreak! Lol) but i've moved on from Dimitri and Adrian had moved in!
I really loved all the characters,(well,except the villains!).Adrian is a cute and lovely guy,and he really loves Rose.but I still can't help hoping Rose would finally end up with Dimitri.because even if she ends up with Adrian,she'll never love him like her feelings for Dimitri.after all,it will be like her relationship with Mason.but I do hope that Adrian won't look as desperate as Jacob in eclipse in the end.and hope that there will be a happy ending for him.
and as you guys mentioned before,the picture Rose had of her future with Dimitri was great.I hope it'll be like that in the end.

I love the chemistry between Adrian & Rose, they are cute!But I don't blame Demitri for not telling her he loves her. I don't think he understood, my impression is that the Strigoi are emotionless for the most part and that he showed her more emotion then was normal for his kind. I want to think if she asked him while he was holding the ring, she would have gotten the answer she wanted.
But yeah he did say "that's what I was supposed to say" instead of "i love you too" when she said it? IDK. . . But he did sign the letter Love D.. . . ?

Yeah I was horribly crying when I read that whole scene, especially when Dimitri fell. But even as a Strigoi, I can just let go all that he and Rose had together. He saved her from Natalie and gave her her first stake and even threatened to kill Victor if he endangered Rose's reputation. I can't just move on to Adrian now after all they've been through. A lot of people are angry or disappointed with the book, but overall, I thought it was the perfect ending. It was ironic that Rose had set off to kill Dimitri and ended up back at the Academy with Dimitri coming to kill her.
It was the exact twisted thing I expected from Mead. Loved it. TEAM DIMKA!!!!!
Yeah the ring was weird.... I think he signed the note love, D to taunt rose.... Idk but yea can u say SURPRISE?! Lol! No now I've seen Dimitri like this it's never gonna be the same :( I like Adrian though :) haha and I love Russian nicknames !:D
