Lannister (lannisteruk) | 10911 comments That might be a connection problem or maybe Goodreads being slow? With Android you never see the covers, none of them. You only get a little square and you can't click on it or anything. It's really annoying and sometimes I swear that I'm never using the app again.

Llaph (llaph) | 3285 comments I don't hear anything, which is lol. I either use safari or wait to see the next time I am @ comp . is no biggie to me. :)

Both sets of bad guys got deaded so I don't know about finishing the series now. :X Plus, the last book kinda pissed me off with the pacing and the wrap up and voila omg you're all saved and stuff fixed now ... carry on ... yaddayadda.

Amber (mixiemoon) | 233 comments @lannister I don't think it's connection problem since it is the exact same every time I use it no matter which wifi or 3G areas I have been in. Irritating.

I love Tybalt. He is so awesome <3

Diane (FriskyVamp) | 372 comments Finished Death Comes Home. Didn't realize it was only 38 pages. Need to pay more attention, it's really episode 1. There are 7 episodes. By the time you pay 99cents for each of them you have paid a normal price for a book. Don't understand the need to draw this out.
It's a little creepy, gave it 3 1/2 stars. It's got a good story. If your interested it's by Rhiannon Frater.

Dirt Nap (A Marnie Baranuik “Between the Files” Story) by A.J. Aalto

The next book is not coming out fast enough.
Pissed off boggles and rolling s*** balls—and she uses her emergency condom and not wearing pants to get its attention … best $0.99 I ever done spent.

message 3764: by Aileen (new)

Aileen | 867 comments Lol @Zeenat, nope, Tybalt all the way!!! Maybe if Connor was single...wait...nope...still Tybalt. But the way he looked at her at the end made me wonder what he was thinking about.

message 3765: by Arushi (new)

Arushi | 3652 comments Ooh... Team Tybalt sounds excellent :D

@Aileen - Tybalt's look will be explained eventually.

I have been on a romantic trash binge lately. I say trash because the last two books were really not my thing and I still read them. Ugh. Dunno what I am thinking.

message 3766: by Zeenat (new)

Zeenat (zeekwon) | 6376 comments Team Tybalt all the way!

I'm really enjoying the Legend of Ir'Indicti novels... They are about a teenage boy, but it's not YAish at all. Very little romance... very little. But the plot is so much more interesting than the main series, IMO. Plus I love Winkler. He's so awesome. Finished Vendetta (Legend of the Ir'Indicti #4) by Connie Suttle Vendetta, and it was my favorite so far.

Currently reading the last Blood Destiny book Blood Reunion (Blood Destiny #10) by Connie Suttle Blood Reunion I like it better than the last couple of books, but it is still so CONFUSING. And now Lissa is collecting (view spoiler) like she collects mates LOL.

I am a dork, I pre-ordered a book a while back and it didn’t show on my kindle app … so I went to the page again and it gave me the option to pre-order so I thought I didn’t do it then ... nope I just paid for 2 pre-orders. Fun times fun times …iamdorkkkthnx
Good thing I used to be in tech support/customer service so I made sure I gave cs everything they needed. God, I hope I don’t get a f’ing moron.

Oh, I am a dork! If I read those two shorts before the book things woulda made a hell of a lot more sense. I just now realized the numbering … the fun of being blind hah and having to listen as I go.

Geez, can’t complain about CS … an hour after I sent my email they fixed it.

Mello ❣ Illium ✮Harry✮ ☀Myrnin☀ Torin Ichimaru | 2012 comments Most recently finished Diversion (Diversion, #1) by Eden Winters Power Exchange (Power Exchange, #1) by A.J. Rose and Scorpion by Aleksandr Voinov and liked them all. Loved Power Exchange the most, though. That book was awesome as hell.

Currently a little over halfway through Illumination by Rowan Speedwell and loving it. It's so sweet.

Lannister (lannisteruk) | 10911 comments Arushi, yes, I should listen to you more often, oh wise master! :D

It's a frigging awesome book! I'm up to about page 300 out of 500ish, so I've a bit to go yet, but I absolutely love Locke! I already ordered the second book. There was a line in the book where Locke meets a powerful and dangerous mage and his falcon familiar, and he thinks that he should be respectful and polite. He sits down and says "Nice bird, arsehole." After I stopped laughing (about ten mins later) I put the book down and immediately ordered the second one. :D

Mello ❣ Illium ✮Harry✮ ☀Myrnin☀ Torin Ichimaru | 2012 comments Finished Illumination by Rowan Speedwell and Double Full (A Nice Guy Novel #1) by Kindle Alexander and loved both.

I'm still on my M/M kick so now I'm reading Not His Kiss to Take by Finn Marlowe

He is my TOP. I love Winkler. All the other ones are too boring or too jerky.

Hahaha.. yep that is so Locke!!! I really like how he is so good, but he knows his faults and his strengths. And the bravado. Gotta love it.
There is a story in here that is my favorite, a story about the Camorri culture. Wait till you get to it. We will discuss it all after you're done. Hummm.. now I wanna read that book again.

Oh and the second one is pretty good too as well as pretty different :)

message 3783: by Lannister (new)

Lannister (lannisteruk) | 10911 comments I haven't had the chance to read any more since I last posted, but I'll get the book finished this weekend. Amazon have emailed to say Red Seas Under Red Skies has been dispatched so I'll hopefully get that in a few days.

For those of you who've read the second book, what did you think of it? I've read mixed reviews, with a few people saying they didn't think it was as good as the first, though a few liked it more.

message 3785: by ♥ Ashleigh ♥ (new)

♥ Ashleigh ♥ Contrary to popular belief I'm not actually mad! (cheshire_red) finished Quarantine (Alone, #3) by James Phelan not too bad, but wasn't great.
The Opposite of Amber by Gillian Philip I thought this book was pretty fantastic.
Dead Reckoning by Mercedes Lackey LOVE LOVE LOVED this book!!
also finished my buddy read with Joan on Endless Knight (The Arcana Chronicles, #2) by Kresley Cole which was awesome.
also read The Repossession (Repossession, #1) by Sam Hawksmoor which was pretty interesting, though I felt the emotion between to two main characters at the start was odd and stiff but that changed pretty quickly
now reading the second book The Hunting (Repossession, #2) by Sam Hawksmoor

Ooh! I can't really give you a fair answer on that!
Yes, I still thoroughly enjoyed reading RSURS, but for me it wasn't quite as good. But those are for personal reasons pertaining to major plot points for which I can say nothing further without serious spoilerage! :P

However - I can say - Just read it! It's worth it! :D

message 3787: by Lannister (new)

Lannister (lannisteruk) | 10911 comments You've got my curiosity up, Jax! :) I'll definitely be reading it, and I'll probably start straight after I finish Lies.

message 3788: by Zeenat (new)

Zeenat (zeekwon) | 6376 comments I finished the Connie Suttle series, Legend of Ir'Indicti with Destroyer (Legend of the Ir'Indicti #5) by Connie Suttle Destroyer. I also read two of her first books in the next series, High Demon with: Demon Lost (High Demon #1) by Connie Suttle Demon Lost Demon Revealed (High Demon #2) by Connie Suttle Demon Revealed. I think I like it less cause it's very similar to the Lissa series and that annoyed me. The last book surprised me though, plus I do want to find out what happens in their crazy world so I'll keep reading. I'll probably pick up the series middle of November though.

Rereading Black Night (Black Wings, #2) by Christina Henry Black Night

Currently reading Thy Kingdom Fall (After Eden Series, Book 1) by Austin Dragon Thy Kingdom Fall.

I am also reading a historical alternate reality novel called The Boleyn King (The Boleyn Trilogy, #1) by Laura Andersen The Boleyn King. This weekend I have to read the the follow up book, an ARC called The Boleyn Deceit (The Boleyn Trilogy, #2) by Laura Andersen The Boleyn Deceit

message 3789: by Aileen (new)

Aileen | 867 comments Finished Summoning the Night (Arcadia Bell, #2) by Jenn Bennett and I loved it. I had accidentally read Leashing the Tempest (Arcadia Bell, #2.5) by Jenn Bennett BEFORE I read Summoning the Night but it was okay in the end.

Started Blood Lines (World of the Lupi, #3) by Eileen Wilks and SO happy I did. I'm a little over half way, and though I am sad that it seems to be more about Cynna and Cullen than about Lily and Rule I still like it. I just...want more Lily and Rule!!!!

message 3790: by Llaph (new)

Llaph (llaph) | 3285 comments @Aileen:
Ut-oh since Night Season is basically all about Cullen andCynna! I <3 that book though, since it mainly takes place in another dimension and has crazy elves in it.

Mello ❣ Illium ✮Harry✮ ☀Myrnin☀ Torin Ichimaru | 2012 comments I actually liked those Cynna and Cullen books. I missed Lily and Rule, too, but the Cynna and Cullen books are really good.

Just finished Up in Arms by Kindle Alexander and I liked it okay, but it was a little too sweet. I've read some sweetly adorable M/M, but this one was a bit much even for me.

Now I'm gonna read this trashy, smutty piece of work Sexing My Boyfriend's Dad (#1 Trinity's Smut Adventures) by Kay Elty because for whatever reason, it caught my eye. Plus, it was free.

Then I'm gonna read Free Falling by S.E. Jakes so I can read about Mick and Blue before Prophet and Tommy's second book is out.

Luichy (lfm69) | 10 comments Has anybody read Kiss of dead by Debbie Viguie? Is part of a trilogy and it sounds interesting. But, I want somebody 's opinion because I need something good to read. I have not found anything really good lately. All of the books that I have read lately have been just "ok " or too romantic for my taste.

message 3793: by Diane (new)

Diane (FriskyVamp) | 372 comments Haven't read it, but I'm reading Once Bitten (Alexa O'brien Huntess) book 1 by Trina M Lee. It seems to have everything I like. You might like it. Look it up

message 3794: by Aileen (new)

Aileen | 867 comments @Llaph I got over it in the end. There ended up being a LITTLE more about Rule and Lily and the whole things between Cullen and Cynna actually made it alright that Night Season will be them in Faerie (also because crazy elves!!!!! So excited!!!!) And the reason I was sad was because I thought it would be more about Lily and Rule and I kept wanting to know what in the world was going on with Rule and it kept switching to Cynna and I just kept being "GET OUT OF HERE. Rule's turn woman." So yeah, finished Blood Lines (World of the Lupi, #3) by Eileen Wilks and I ended up loving it!!!!!!!!

Mello ❣ Illium ✮Harry✮ ☀Myrnin☀ Torin Ichimaru | 2012 comments Luichy wrote: "Has anybody read Kiss of dead by Debbie Viguie? Is part of a trilogy and it sounds interesting. But, I want somebody 's opinion because I need something good to read. I have not found anything real..."

I've not heard of that one.

@Aileen If you loved Blood Lines, I think you'll love Night Season, too. It was really good. Really, that series just keeps improving on itself. It amazes me the way Eileen Wilks makes her stories so intricate. She manages to shock me in every book.

Finished Free Falling by S.E. Jakes and Long Time Gone (Hell or High Water #2) by S.E. Jakes and loved both. Especially Long Time Gone. I never get tired of Tommy and Prophet.

Reading Bound by Law (Men of Honor, #2) by S.E. Jakes

I agree about always being surprised by her. Just when you think it might go one way she takes you off in another direction, I love that. :)

Started reading Kissed by Moonlight but can't really get into it, so in the meantime I've read Tenma No Ketsuzoku 2, Reimei no Arcana 13, Hoy comienza nuestro amor #14 by Kanan Minami and Dirt Nap. Dirt Nap was hilarious and I loved it :)
