Been busy but made time to read Blood Love by Connie Suttle. Wtf omg just happened wow I need time to process that ending and can't wait tell December. So glad I stumbled onto these books.
I just finished my 10th book this month,
Death's Mistress (Dorina Basarab #2) by Karen Chance. My next book is
Hounded (The Iron Druid Chronicles #1) by Kevin Hearne

and really liked it. It was very sweet. Took a while for the heroes to finally get it on and could have used a little more conflict, but it was a bit refreshing to read something drama free.Starting
I just finished my 11th book this month,
Hounded (The Iron Druid Chronicles #1) by Kevin Hearne. My next book is
The Indigo Spell (Bloodlines #3) by Richelle Mead

Woohoo! Glad you loved Blood Song. Such an awesome book.
I had to replace the fan in my computer so I was basically out of order since last week--at least for typing anyway. I was still able to read though … love my phone lol.Finished:
A Hidden Fire (Elemental Mysteries, #1),
This Same Earth (Elemental Mysteries, #2),
The Force of Wind (Elemental Mysteries, #3),
and
A Fall of Water (Elemental Mysteries #4) by Elizabeth Hunter
The first was a freebie from amazon … I liked it so much I bought and read the other 3 in the series. I really really liked them. Beatrice is the most kick-ass librarian…. There wasn’t a ton of action, it had lots of political stuff, the “love” between Bea and Gio wasn’t an insta “wham-bam” kind. It didn’t even get serious till the 2nd book and that took place 5 years after the 1st had ended. In 4 books I think almost a decade passed or something.
The Darkest Craving (Lords of The Underworld, #10) by Gena Showalter
It wasn’t as bad as I had feared, but it still lacked for me. I guess all of the other books that I have read warped my idea of what I like in a story and I don't like her kind of stories now.
Arushi wrote: "I just finished Blood Song and absolutely loved it. Thanks Lannister for recommending it to me!!! "Yay! You're welcome, Arushi. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. We can wait patiently together until the sequel comes out. :)
For some reason I cannot see any of us being too patient about the waiting.. or maybe that is just me.
I'm not so good at patience either. Oh well, will need to distract myself with other books to pass the time.
Finished:Close to You (Downside Ghosts, #5.5) by Stacia Kane
I like her shorts, I don’t ever feel cheated when I read them. Erm, dunno how to explain that!

, I'm liking it so far. When you mentioned Blood Song I thought it was
and I got really excited, because I read that and I really liked it, but...different book, same title.
I just finished my 12th book this month,
The Indigo Spell (Bloodlines #3) by Richelle Mead. My next book is
Naked in Death (In Death #1) by J.D. Robb
Hounded (The Iron Druid Chronicles #1) by Kevin HearneWell the format was an audiobook which brought the story together nicely. Wanted to to give the book 4-1/2 to 5 stars but there needed to be more back story. It be like watch the movie Ocean's Eleven but missing the first 3rd of the movie. Now if I would've read the book instead of listened to it I might have given it only 3 stars for lack of back story. There are a lot of characters and all you get in the first is there name and splash of info about them. Though I think I might be a bit spoiled from the other authors I read and the fact I read/listen a lot of books.
This all came about because an author named Dan Thompson had read the same book and ask me what I thought of it.
I read a amazon freebie today and really enjoyed it probably going to read the next book soon. Shadow Bound
Amber, thx for telling me that Shadow Bound is worth reading. I download it but didn't even looked at it, so maybe now I take another look at it :). From www.netgalley.com I managed to download
before it's officially released and I'm planning to start reading it tommorow :)

I just finished my 13th book this month,
Naked in Death (In Death #1) by J.D. Robb . My next book is
Heart of Venom (Elemental Assassin #9) by Jennifer Estep
Finished
,
, and
, enjoyed them so I'm going to start
see if the full length novel is as nice as the novellas.
Have you ever read a book that just completely throws you off?Well,
managed to do just that for me.I still haven't managed to finish it - and honestly, I don't know if I will.
I read the first 2 in the series, which weren't bad... but at this point there are just too many inconsistencies for me, not to mention the amount of irritation I feel at certain characters.
I haven't managed to get into anything since!
And I'm too nervous to re-read Cassie in case my bitchy mood carries over to her too!
Pfft!
LOL Jax, maybe Cassie's craziness is just what you need!I haven't read that series you're talking about, but I thought it had reasonable reviews (well, the first book, anyway.) Sorry it's not working for you. :(
FinishedSweeter Than Wine, Forever Valentine, and Wolf Hills they were alright. Think the novella were better. Starting Shadow Fall see if this is as good as the first.

The first book was actually pretty enjoyable!
Book two had its moments, and a lot of my issues could be pushed aside as learning curves and what-nots.
However - by book three, for there to still be the same issues, and inconsistencies. Huff. I'm just really miffed! Cos I was all geared up to really enjoy it! I think that perhaps one should read the first novel only - and as a stand-alone. As that would be have been a better place for me to have stopped.
I just finished my 14th book this month,
Heart of Venom (Elemental Assassin #9) by Jennifer Estep. My next book is
Glory in Death (In Death #2) by J.D. Robb
I'm reading
. I'm stuck because the writing is amazing as usual but this villain is really bad news so I almost don't want to keep reading because I'm afraid of what's going to happen. I'm also not a fan of the scenes from the villain's POV. So basically Rob Thurman has managed to make me so invested in her(?) characters that I don't want anything really bad to happen to them.
I've had that problem before, Claire. Some books make me want to stop reading because I just know something awful will happen.Just finished
and really liked it.Starting
