What are you reading?
I finished Roadkilland will be starting Blackout soon. I can see why this book is liked so much. I had fun reading Roadkill and I do love the character development. I think it is my fav book in the series so far.
Finished
and loved it. I was crying at the end. Daemon <3 I'll probably read the rest of the series at some point, but not now. Not since I'm pretty sure of something that's going to happen later.Starting
I just finished my 3rd book this month,
Hollowmen (The Hollows, #2) by Amanda Hocking. My next book is
Blood Trade (Jane Yellowrock #6)by Faith Hunter
im reading
its hilariously cliche. its about a top secret school to teach talented teens to be as evil as they can be.
Wow just read 13 reviews for Dead Ever After {Sookies) last book, everyone of them gave it 1 star saying it was the worst ending of a book they had ever read. I'm glad I saved 15 dollars and didn't buy it. To much to pay for a Kindle anyway.
Apocalyptic Moon by Eva GordonI normally don’t read zombie books, but I really liked this one. One of my weaknesses with subjects is books with an apocalypse theme. Plus this one has werewolves and witches mixed in.
$15 for an e-book?? Just adds fuel to my theory that the leaking of the ending was contrived to garner publicity and book sales. :p
I finished
and
Hopefully will finish reading
and the new and last one
That would be what 13 books, and a bunch of short stories in 5 days ;)
Well done, Zeenat!I often need to take a break between books in a series, unless I'm really fond of the series. I find that when you read them back to back any little annoyances get magnified out of all proportion. If it's just a little thing in one book, you can shrug it off, but when you read a bunch of them together you'd like to reach into the pages and strangle someone!!
So, Zeenat, I salute you for reading 13 books from the same series back to back!
I like reading books all together cause it feels like one big epic book, I like doing with tv shows too. I don't like reading one book at a time actually. I don't start a new series by an author I haven't read unless the series has at least 3 books.
I am pretty much the same way zeenat. except for a few series where I started with them @ book 1 and kept up with them because I loved them.
I can understand the One Big Book thing, but most books tend to be very episodic and have a natural conclusion, and I find it easy to put them down after that and go on to something else. I do enjoy reading certain series back-to-back, but I have to really like them.
finished
it was actually really good. i ended up rating it 4 stars.started Wolf's blood this morning, sofar pretty good.
so now that I'm 15 books ahead on the reading challenge ROFL... I'm gonna finish rereading the Jane True series, starting with
and rereading
I just finished my 4th book this month,
Blood Trade (Jane Yellowrock #6)by Faith Hunter. My next book is
Grave Sight (Harper Connelly, #1) by Charlaine Harris

Dale wrote: "I just finished my 4th book this month,

Jane True is a great series! I've read it twice already, and I can't wait to read it again. Nothing like a little half-selkie with big breasts to get your heart pumping!Did I just say that out loud? Oh, shit....
Just finished
an I loved it, but Julie Kagawa is a mean, mean woman to end the book like that and make me wait a year to find out what happens next. Meeeeeeeaaaaaaannnnnnnnnn!Starting
because I feel like having my mind get fucked up.

Anyway, just finished
and really liked it.
@ Gin and Zeenat - I've read both books in the White Trash Zombie series. I liked them - in fact I kind of waiting impatiently for the next one that comes out on July 2nd. They were not what I was expecting, so that's probably good.
'Kay so I just started
. I think I was expecting to be super impressed because everyone raves about Wraith.I do really like him, but I'm not bowled over. However, I'm remembering how much I loved Zsadist's book in BDB and thinking maybe Wraith will sneak up on me too.
I'm kind of filled with anxiety over how Serena will react when she finds out who Wraith really is. It can't possibly be pretty, but I know it will obviously get resolved.

I've finished it and the sequel. They are quite good, Margo. If there were no POVs from Caleb, though, I doubt I culd have forgiven him. I'm glad you liked I Hunt Killers. I read it last year and loved it. Need to make some time for the sequel.
Finished
and
talk about disturbing and heart-wrenching. My heart felt like it was pounding right out of my chest more than a few times. And of course, there was the blubbering.Starting
@ Claire:Wraith is a jerkface at the beginning of the series and his book. He becomes less so more towards the end of his book though....
At least that is my thought on things.
I can't say I necessarily dislike him...His self-destructive behavior was never meant to harm his brothers. Once he found out it did, he stopped. Wraith does care about his family and tries to do right by them. I can't blame him for being a like messed up, given what he went through.

but I'm not quite ready for it now :/. Today I've finished
and I really liked it. There were only two drawbacks for me about it. 1st, and most important one, I have no idea when the next books comes out and the ending of this one is a cliffhanger so I really need a next book, like, right now. And 2nd is Connie. What she does in
is stupid, reckless and childish and so B horrorish that it's just silly. Now reading another Connie Suttle's book
I just finished my 5th book this month,
Grave Sight (Harper Connelly, #1) by Charlaine Harris . My next book is
Sizzle and Burn (Arcane Society, # 3) by Jayne Ann Krentz
read
which I thought was pretty good. also read
have to say im not really a fan, and the end was just depressing - and not in a good way, more of a confused what the fuck just happened kind of way....now re-reading
as I have just gotten my hands on the next book (Unravel Me) and cant recall everything that happened, plus its an awesome book so I don't mind re-reading it.
A Bite to Remember (Argeneau, #5) by Lynsay SandsI was just about to buy the book soon and my library just put it up today. (I had wishlisted it months and months ago so I had gave up on that.)
Really now, I have read all of the books/stories for the series a bunch of times minus this one…. So nice to know wtf with the small references in the other books, things make more sense to my OCD self now!
Margo wrote: "Mello ❣ Illium ✮Harry✮ ☀Myrnin☀ Torin wrote: "I've finished it and the sequel. They are quite good, Margo. If there were no POVs from Caleb, though, I doubt I culd have forgiven him. I'm glad you liked Game, though. Sucks about that cliffhanger, but I'm going to read it soon, too.
Finished
and really, really liked it. Reading
now.
Tied with a Bow by Lora Leigh, Eileen Wilks, Virginia Kantra, and Kimberly Frost I read the whole anthology, but I so mainly read it because it had Benedict in it....
The Kimberely Frost short was rather interesting too.
Finished the latest Morganville Vampires a couple of days ago. Just got an email from Rachel Caine saying the next one is out in November of this year, and its to be the last one in the series. The way the last one left off, its almost certain how it is going to go.
I'm reading
. I've only read about 65 pages so far, but I'm really liking it. It's kinda creepy and atmospheric and it's sucking me in. I hope it keeps this up and doesn't fade into crappy plotlines.Anyone else read this?
Reading Doubletake The Cal Leandros series grows on you - like mold. Like how Robin has grown on the Leandros brothers - tho I still love how he can terrify them with just one innuendo.
Well I've now finished The Restorer and I really liked it, so much so that I'm about to head to Amazon and download book two. I don't usually do this but I really enjoyed the book!
It's something of a spooky murder mystery story, but there's tons of questions left unanswered at the end of the book and I have to know more!!
Wild Invitation by Nalini SinghI just keep telling myself idonotneedtorereadseriesidonotneedtorereadseriesidonotneedtorereadseries
Maybe when it gets closer for the next one to finally come out.

good god, I was checking my list ... the next book is listed as to not be coming out till june of 2014.... I am such a dork I checked it twice.
