Are you familiar with the Classic Don Quixote? It's another monster of a tome, and is majorly OLD (from the 1600's, I believe, Le Mis is from the 1800's,) and it sounds AMAZING!! If you're interested, there's a group read starting around the 15th of so of January. I'll post the link and an invite. I think you might like it!

I am almost half way through War and Peace. It takes a bit of work to get through some parts, but definitely a really good book.
I have. I absolutely love it. Hawthorne's an amazing author and his writing is just beautiful.
You'll like it. It's a pretty short read that you could probably do in a day if you had the time, but very moving.
For those reading or planning on read War And Peace I still have the thread up for it so feel free to stop by. I also have a thread for The Picture Of Dorian Gray if anyone is interested in reading that classic with me as well.

Actually just read 2 classics last week. I read 1984, by George Orwell and Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, by Lewis Carroll.
