One Enchanted Evening Reading Challenge
Duration: 1 October - 30 November 2015
1) So to begin this challenge the first item on the agenda is to decide where you will go and yes you can go to more than one place. Will it be to the past, present, future, or into your favorite book series? Read one or more books somehow related to your destination(s) just follow the guidelines listed above.
I'm going to Prague in the present time with the book Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor!

Read: 10/18
2) Next, pick an appropriate outfit(s) and/or costume(s) for the night. You may read one or more books for each outfit or costume you wish to wear, just follow the guidelines for the challenge listed above.
I'm going to wear the wonderful White Dress Seraphima wore for her and Olivers wedding (no it's not a wedding Dress): Between the lines - Jodi Picoult

Read: 10/15
3) Thirdly, decide who will go with you? You may choose one or more people to join you on your enchanted evening or go solo. You can select friends or your favorite book characters. It's up to you to decide. You may read one or more books for each person travelling with you just follow the guidelines for the challenge listed above.
I'm going to take Thomas with me, of course as my date. ( The Scorch Trials - James Dashner)

4) The fourth item on the agenda is to pick what you will do? Will you watch a historic event, go to a dance club, just pop in somewhere for a quick drink, go bowling or something entirely different? You may read one or more books for each thing you wish to do just follow the guidelines for the challenge listed above.
I'll go to a small, comfy and cosy candy store which nobody really knows and me and Thomas are going to get all the stuff they have.

5) Once at your decided destination you will probably need transportation. You may read one or more books for each form of transportation you wish to use just follow the guidelines for the challenge listed above.
6) Because this will be such a long night, you may need some substance to sustain you. Choose one or more food and/or drink items you wish to indulge in during your enchanted evening. You may read one or more books for each food item/drink you with to imbibe of, just follow the guidelines for the challenge listed above.
Gonna have some Whiskey!

I really liked this challenge idea, and I would like to give it a try! I told my sister about this challenge, too. I'll be doing this with her, and I think she's in this group too. Here goes!
1. Where will you be going? I will go to Brick Lane, London. So I'll be reading Brick Lane by Monica Ali.
2. What will you wear? I wil wear a suit and a cap, like on my cover of The Hound of the Baskervilles, where Sherlock Holmes is wearing that. (not sure about the Goodreads cover though) (DONE)
3. Who will you bring with you? I will bring my sister of course, but for this challenge we decided to bring at least two different characters from different books, so we'll go with Harry August of The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August and A.J Fikry of The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry.
4. What will you do? We will watch a movie! Night Film by Marisha Pessl, to be exact.
5. How will you get there? We will get there by car. I looked for a book I own showing a car on the cover, and my e-book version of The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald has a car on it. I've actually been wanting to read this book for a while, so I'm glad I'll finally be able to get to it.
6. What will you eat? I will eat pasta, as shown on the cover of Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert (at least I think it's pasta). I'm really happy I got to include non-fiction in my challenge too! My sister and I wanted to include either a non-fiction book or a graphic novel, and I'm in a more non-fiction mood. :)
I don't know if I'll complete the challenge in two months, since I'm not the fastest reader, but my sister and I loved the idea and we're looking forward to the challenge!

Duration: 10/1/15 - 11/30/15

Ooooh! I want to go on an enchanted evening. :)
I will be going to the court of Henry VIII. I will be wearing a beautiful red and pink gown with gold accents. Accompanying me will be Rick Grimes. We will be attending the wedding of Henry VIII to Jane Seymour. Good strong horses will see us around the palace and its grounds. I have brought a bottle of my favorite blackberry wine to sustain us during the long night.
