Ariel (beautytwo) | 86 comments Currently I'm reading The Mark of Athena (The Heroes of Olympus, #3) by Rick Riordan The Mark of Athena, once again, in preparation for The House of Hades The House of Hades (The Heroes of Olympus, #4) by Rick Riordan which is coming out on October 8th. HEHEHEHE... I CAN'T WAIT. Is anyone else as excited as I am????

I just finished September Girls by Bennett Madison September Girls. It's an interesting book! It was really cool, because the author came to my school and I got to meet him.

Also I just finished Hourglass (Hourglass, #1) by Myra McEntire Hourglass. It was really funny, and I can't wait to read the next book in the series!

I liked the first two Nightshade books, but (IN MY OPINION) the last one wasn't as good... I really hope you like it though! Just brace yourself for the conclusion.

Just a thought Emma, the new main character for TMI's sequel series, last name is Carstairs....just a little curious about that!

Could you even see what I wrote lol? I think something didn't quite make it to my response

message 409: by Ariel (new)

Ariel (beautytwo) | 86 comments OH! yeah, now I see it. And I definitely know the answer to that. Emma is Jem's uncle's descendant. Not his, unfortunately. :( Do you remember Tessa meeting Jem's uncle, and he tried to give them that sword…? That's who Emma is descended from.

I do remember that and it could completely be correct, but I just have this feeling it's more connected than that. I guess we will have to see what happens in the last book (I have to finish the others before it comes out >_<) but I want it to be closer to Tessa and Jem lol

message 411: by Ariel (new)

Ariel (beautytwo) | 86 comments It's a fact, I'm looking at the genealogy chart that came with Clockwork Princess right now. What do you mean, we'll have to see what happens in the last book? Have you read Clockwork Princess yet? OH! Do you mean City of Heavenly Fire??? Huh?

(And yes, I wish it was a closer connection to Tessa and Jem too.)

I have read the whole TID series, I have yet to finish Fallen Angels. I meant the last book of TMI. I've never seen the genealogy chart...but I borrowed my books from the library so maybe they didn't have editions with the chart in it?? That saddens me a little bit, I was really hoping Tessa and Jem would have a kid that we get to read about later on.

message 413: by Ariel (new)

Ariel (beautytwo) | 86 comments Ah. Well I think it's totally possible they could have a kid in the future. We'll just have to see what happens.

Go here if you want to see the genealogy and other extras to go with the series:

I want to hear the story about how a Herondale and a Carstairs got together in the middle of that chart!

XD I know, it's crazy! I wonder how she plans it all out? I've heard that she always knows the endings to a series she's writing, before she even starts it!

I don't even know how she keeps all her characters straight. I'd be writing Will in City of Ash or Jace in TID and just getting everyone all confused, let alone 4 or 5 different series of different characters shes got laid out.

Clockwork Princess made me cry...and I'm not the type to do that over a book. It was still awesome though!

It depends on your point of view... I was okay with the ending, once I got used to the idea, but my friend really wasn't happy with it. I still think it's a good series though... just brace yourself.
