Max China (maxchina) | 16 comments I'm giving away 10 copies of my latest book The Night of the Mosquito via email in epub format in exchange for an honest review to be posted here and on amazon. The book isn't suitable for under 18's contains adult themes and is violent in places. It is, however a book that explores love and loss against a backdrop of an apocalyptic event and the havoc wreaked by an escaped six-foot ten-inch psychiatric patient with psychic links to Jack the Ripper.

Check it out on amazon. http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B013CQYHHA...

First 10 only. BUT message me please with email address to send ebook.

Alexander Hicks (alexander_h) | 1 comments Hello everyone,

I'm hoping to get some sincere opinions regarding my debut work, Living Companion.

The basic summary would be as follows:
A man obsessed with his work, tormented by inability to produce it and imprisoned with devotion to the cause of his madness. Struggling with anxiety, he shares a lodging with a painter, a free-spirited woman, who could very well be his ruin.

Burdened with perpetual observations, one thing surfaces as inevitable - he is compelled to ceaselessly think, awaiting for the end of his life work, or his own.

Free copy at Living Companion
If you prefer to receive a copy on email, just let me know which format you prefer.
For any additional info don't hesitate to contact me on alex.hicks.alcove@gmail.com

M.T. McGuire (mtmcguire) | 26 comments Hello everyone

I have a complete series of four humorous science fiction fantasy books out and the first one is free from all ebook vendors. If you enjoy the it and want to sign up to my mailing list you can grab second one for free too.

Few Are Chosen Few Are Chosen (K'Barthan Trilogy, #1) by M.T. McGuire

You are more than welcome to have a read and if you leave a review I would be incredibly grateful.

Here's the blurb for the series.

All The Pan of Hamgee wants is a quiet life.

So why did he have to fall in love with a woman living in a different version of reality, upset a murderous tyrant and then run out of places to hide?

Now all he has to do is face his inner demons, rescue everything he holds dear and save the world, or die trying.

Oh yes and he's an abject coward.

Great, no pressure then.

Cheers

MTM

This book is for lovers! It is for sensitive, romantic souls. It is for people who wipe a tear as they watch a vivid sunset or who, under the August full moon, understand that life is always about love. But love isn’t always a field of roses. In this book, those roses are full of thorns. Love is a long, adventurous journey. But no matter the thorns in the roses, love never ceases to be the miracle of life. ...
Paul, a handsome young Greek business executive guides Sophie, a younger ethereal beauty of a Greek Goddess, in her Harvard Business School application. They are interested in one another. However, so many questions arise. Will they date, as Sophie has had a steady boyfriend for six years, Robert, and even worse as Paul still has a mad crush on his former girlfriend at Harvard, Wendy? Will they fall in love, will he ask her to marry him and will their marriage ever take place, if at all? This passionately romantic written novel is also definitely a suspense mystery thriller as there are so many threatening plots against their relationship. Robert and Wendy, Sophie’s and Paul’s mothers, and many other people each separately and for their own specific reasons actively plot to blow everything up. Even Alice, Sophie’s sexy-bombshell twin sister wants to “share” Paul. But will she succeed? Paul is so tempted, interested…

Rajalakshmi Prithviraj (rajalakshmiprithviraj) | 15 comments Hi everyone,

My book is a Contemporary Reality Fiction. Silence Silence (Under The Blue Sky#1) by Rajalakshmi Prithviraj

The book attempts to bring out the pain that a family in the Indian Air Force undergoes when one of their family member dies in a helicopter crash. It is set against the backdrop of the mid air collision of two Mi-17 helicopters of the Indian Air Force in Jamnagar, Gujarat, India in 2012. It is a true story with many names changed to protect the identity of serving IAF personnel.

It is also available for free on KindleUnlimited. In case you do not have a KindleUnlimited membership, the book will be made free on Amazon on 08 October 2015, which also happens to be the Indian Air Force Day.

Thanks for a patient reading.

T.L. Clark (tlcauthor) | 145 comments My latest book comes with a trigger warning.
It goes through a girl's CSA survivor tale.
It's a novel, and not based on reality as is the norm with this subject matter.

Tina shows us her horrors, but we travel along with her through the darkness out into the light, where she finds friends and a romance.

Brian Burt | 10 comments I'm seeking folks who would be interested in reading and reviewing a new cli-fi (Climate Fiction) SF novel, Aquarius Rising: Blood Tide. This is Book 2 in a trilogy; Book 1, Aquarius Rising: In the Tears of God, won the 2014 EPIC eBook Award for Science Fiction.

If you're interested, please message me. I'll be happy to gift you an eBook copy from the online bookseller of your choice (Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Apple iBooks, Kobo, etc.). I'd even be willing to gift a prospective reviewer both novels in the trilogy (so far) if they're sincerely interested.

Here's a brief synopsis of the novel to provide more context.

Megalops is an Aquarian from one of the many reef-cities that thrive beneath the waves on an Earth transformed by climate change. Humans clinging to the barren lands blame Aquarius for their plight and unleashed the Medusa Plague that entombed Megalops's wife and daughter in stone. Tormented by that loss, Megalops swears to avenge his murdered family by unleashing a Vendetta Virus as cruel and lethal as Medusa. Ocypode the Atavism and his allies battle desperate odds to prevent Megalops from igniting global conflict. War demands sacrifice. If Mother Earth and Mother Ocean wage war against each other, will anyone survive?

This novel has been favorably reviewed by Midwest Book Review and received 4 of 4 stars from Online Book Club.

“If we can conquer death and dearth, evil will be no more.

We see that matters are able to evolve and redefining the concept of good and evil shows that we are, and the holy scriptures are no words of God, they are outdated references.

We observe order and patterns within the universe because some parts of the chaos that is the universe are something we love while actually order is not self-existent and the universe doesn't care for us, thus the concept of free will that is vital to its constituents. The universe lets its constituents write what they know, believe what they believe, do what they do, regardless of whether they are true or not.” – Andreas Laurencius, Genesis.
