Amanda sylvia day has a lot of books out. wen i get the chance i will put the list up of all my erotic books i have loads now but aint read them all yet.

Julianne When I first seen the books of 50 Shades I said to myself I wouldn't like those books, but then a friend of mine told me a little bit about them and I was interested to see if they were that good and I can say I really enjoyed them and would like to read more just like them. Thanks for all the suggestions.

I like this book too! I like how they exchange banters, and make up afterwards.

Mandy If you liked 50 shades, you will probably love Chloe Cox. She is a great BDSM writer. She has a series called Club Volare, they are very dominating men and submissive women. This series is a good read.

message 217: by Jo (new) - rated it 2 stars

Jo Please Jaxon Dixie by Jordan Peugeot is excellent. It's well written, the characters are engaging, and the author explores the issue of consent. I found the storyline outside of the BDSM aspect to be interesting, and it magnified the effect of the sex scenes by making them more real.

message 218: by Arlene (new) - rated it 2 stars

Arlene Suggestions for books like this in a "historical" bent?

message 219: by İrem (new) - rated it 5 stars

İrem You should read bared to you by silvia day

Nichole 50 Shades was well written and it kept you on the edge of your seat per say. Since reading 50 shades I've read Hardwired by Meredith Wild and the two that follow it and I'm awaiting the next one. Lately I've fallen in love with the writting style of Suzaane Ferrell and the Edgars Family series . Its not as descriptive as 50 Shades but its romance and mystery. She quickly moved to the top of my favorite author list. I can't wait till the next book comes out! Kidnapped (Edgars Family, #1) by Suzanne Ferrell

I agree with you bared to you was way better! except for the last book entwined with you... a let down lol

Carolina Morales Pleasing the Colonel, Lady Merryn's Punishment & The Darlington Incident - Renee Rose
The Romance of Spanking & The Naughty Wives Collection - Rollin Hand
The Diary of a Submissive - Sophie Morgan
100 Strokes of the Brush Before Going to Bed - Melissa Panarello

Hi, can I humbly suggest my book; Twenty Tones of Red ?
I wrote it as a 'response' to Fifty Shades. Siobhan is very much in control and wants to be dominated. I see it as a more feminist approach...there is also more genuine and 'real' bdsm.
thanks
PM

Pauline Montford Hi...and just to add...here it is...warning -lot's of real bondage and domination...

Vera Vasiljevic Kutlesic Thumbs up for the Bared to You series (book 5 released summer 2015) by Sylvia Day, This Man trilogy by Jodi Ellen Malpas and The Driven trilogy by K. Bromberg. All three including FSOG are my all time favorites and I've read a lot! I cannot choose which is my favorite. All four get an A+!!!!!!!!!!!

message 238: by Karen (new) - rated it 4 stars

Karen I'm pretty sure Christian has ruined a lot of future leading men for me, but my love of books has me reading on. Thanks for the list. :)

message 239: by S.J. (new) - rated it 5 stars

S.J. Wright I too fell in love with fifty shades of Grey and started reading more erotic books as a result of it.

For any fifty shades of grey fans out there. I have written my first three chapters of a novel called Broken promises on my profile and I have had my lead character compared to Mr Christain Grey due to his Mystery and allusiveness.

I would love to hear some true fans thoughts and reviews. Thank you.

message 240: by Breanna (new)

Breanna Miller i like 50 shades of gray. i just love everything!!

message 241: by Michelle (new)

Michelle Hughes Cherished

A little more realism than Fifty Shades

message 242: by Jae (new)

Jae https://www.quotev.com/story/7900086/... <-- Been working on this elsewhere, but if you're looking for more realistic depictions with humourous characters and tonnes of spice, check it out? (:

message 243: by Vera (new) - rated it 5 stars

Vera Vasiljevic Kutlesic Okay so I finally finished One With You (the struggle to finish was real). I cannot even express how disappointed I am. I truly fell in love with Gideon and Eva. They are my top favorite amongst Christian/Ana, Jesse/Ava and Colton/Rylee. My four favorite reads. We waited 1.5+ years for that ending? I kept waiting for it to get better. That is not how you end Gideon and Eva. Done w/SD. First and last read from her. I'll just have to ignore book 5 in my head. Lol

message 244: by Jo (new) - rated it 2 stars

Jo Please Jaxon Dixie

Try Please Jaxon Dixe. I haven't read all the stories you reference, but I found Jaxon/Monica to be more engaging, interesting, and sensual than Christian/Ana.

Julianne Thanks I will check these out

message 246: by [deleted user] (new)

I have not read Fifty Shades books, i saw the movie and sadly was not encouraged to read any of the books , but for those of you who are looking for a good series try Uncovering You Series by Scarlett Edwards. It's a very dark erotic book. I don't like being limited to a type in my choice of literature, so if a book catches my attention and the story is intriguing and well done i like it.Too many erotic novels are all generally speaking the same, especially the ones about a rich billionaire, and some poor young woman who doesn't know her own worth. I like strong female characters.

message 247: by [deleted user] (new)

There has to be that special something, that spark that intrigues me to read any book.I don't like repetitive erotic scenes with no depth to the characters or the same old stotyline. There are just too many of them so i 'am choosy with my selections. There are some good authors and some bad ones, just like any thing else.

message 248: by Joy (new) - rated it 5 stars

Joy I just read UNTOUCHED BY LILLY WILDE. I loved this series. It erotica at its best. The characters just get deeper and deeper as you go from one book to the next. A lot better than 50 Shades with the hottest man ever. Aiden.

Chelsea i enjoyed the fixed trilogy.i personally loved it

message 250: by AM (new) - rated it 4 stars

AM I might have gotten hooked - and put up with atrocious lack of editing - for completely different reasons than most other people. ;)

I like the love story and the character development.
