message 155: by Marrah (new) - rated it 5 stars

Marrah Mae Thanks for sharing other books. after reading 50 shades of Grey i got kinda curious so i read more of these books. However some are too much for me and some are ok. I enjoyed the Masters of Shadowland by Cherise Sinclair. its worth it

Brittney Thanks to everyone for the suggestions, I'm going to check some of them out!! :-)

message 157: by Vania (new) - rated it 5 stars

Vania I'm currently reading Masters of Shadowlands and it's a really good series. I recommend it! Also pretty much anything by Tymber Dalton. Her bio says she actually lives that life herself so her stuff is first hand. Her series "Love Slave For Two" is good.

Cristal (Professional Book Procrastinator) I'm almost finished with The Submissive by Tara Sue Me. I see a few similarities to FSoG, but I still love Christian more than I do the guy in this story. It's lot of fun to read though. I'm liking it more than anticipated.

Jenetta Diana wrote: "Try Gabriel's Inferno, very well written book"

The best book!!!!

Jenetta Amanda wrote: "Diana wrote: "Try Gabriel's Inferno, very well written book"

thanks i will get it wen i see it lol"

And the sequel to it also. The third one comes out later this year. This was one of my favorites!

Brittney Everlie wrote: "Also enjoyed the trilogy of Fifty shades of Gray. Can hardily wait for my hubby to be done so I can discuss the books with him and share how we both feel."

You are so lucky!!! I tried to get my husband to read them he said no. Then i asked him to just read certain parts and I got the same response. :-(

message 162: by Alesia (new) - rated it 5 stars

Alesia I guess I'm trouble because I've read every book listed on here( J/S) .... They are all goodreads The Stark Trilogy is also pretty good and in the same ball park as fifty shades..... Real by Katy Evan is really good too ...Surrender your love is also on that list of pretty good .... Might storm (rockstar with the anaconda in his pants) according to the book..... Not bad read either

Juliana I totally loved fity i read the three books on three days, but gideon cross mmmm... and i am currently reading gabriels inferno and i think is very good too...

Kathi Jackson I like love stories with realistic romance. If I may recommend my own book, Lily's War, it contains both. When a writer falls in love with her characters, it's hoped that that feeling will transfer to the reader. Thanks for these wonderful suggestions. I'm about to start reading the last in this series and now worry that Christian and Ana won't end up together. I really love these two.

M.J. Summers Break In Two by M.J. Summers

Hi All,
I think I have one that might satisfy your need for a sexy hero and a real story. It was just released yesterday and it hit the top #100 already!
Hope you'll give it a look!
Happy Reading,
MJ

message 184: by Kathi (new) - rated it 5 stars

Kathi Jackson Is this your book? I put it on my "Want to Read" list. I hope you find time to give Lily's War a read. Thanks.

message 185: by Kathi (new) - rated it 5 stars

Kathi Jackson I was in heaven at the end of Fifty Shades Freed. What a great ending.

I'd still like to promote my book, Lily's War. When my sister-in-law started reading it, she asked me where I learned all of that! I didn't know how to respond but was thinking: it's what people do!

message 186: by M.J. (new)

M.J. Summers Hi Dawn,
May I suggest my book, Break in Two? You can see the first 9 chapters in the Search Inside tool on Amazon. It's a full length contemporary romance (450 pages) and has very detailed sex scenes nestled into what I hope you will find a compelling story. Lots of twists and turns and carefully developed characters, all wrapped up in an endearing love story. (I hope!)
All for $3.89 or you can borrow it from the KDP Select Library for free.
Happy reading,
MJ

So have you found anything comparable to the likes of Christian Gray?! That is my fear, I am worried I won't like another book in this genre after reading FSOG series (the only 'erotica' books that I've read!).

I actually have it on my list. I made a list of some of the books I'd like to read that all of the ladies suggested

Berenice You should also try This Man Trilogy by Jodi Ellen Malpas. I´ve read most of the books mentioned above (Sylvia Day´s Crossfire Series, Gabriel Inferno).

Vanessa I love r.k. lilley's series...

message 200: by Kimber (new) - rated it 4 stars

Kimber Hellmers I've been working through the Wicked Lovers Series by Shayla Black. They are, on the whole, pretty good. I highly recommend reading them in order as characters from the first book are referenced and show up in the next, and so on....a couple are only ebooks though, which is really shitty on the part of the publisher.
