Jamie and Claire's wedding and wedding night from Outlander (Outlander, #1) by Diana Gabaldon
I loved when she said, "Where'd you learn to kiss like that?" And he said, "I said I was a virgin, not a monk."

Vega_girl | 6624 comments Technically it isn't a love scene but it is by far the sexiest scene for me...when Ridge "listens" to Sydney sing...*sigh* total swoon !! Maybe Someday (Maybe, #1) by Colleen Hoover

TTPBM: Favorite Laugh out loud scene..

message 1203: by Chris (new)

Chris K. | 1404 comments It's not particularly a scene but its the first chapter when the author remember how she used to stand in the dark and stare at her parents sleeping xD in Hyperbole and a Half Unfortunate Situations, Flawed Coping Mechanisms, Mayhem, and Other Things That Happened by Allie Brosh

TTPBM: Do you always write reviews or do you just rate?

message 1205: by Erika (new)

Erika | 9482 comments I use to only rate but I made it my goal this year to review every book I read. So far so good.

TTPBM: do you read reviews and if so how many do you read for one book usually?

message 1206: by Erika (new)

Erika | 9482 comments Yes but I don't think I have the time and drive to do it.

TTPBM: Same and is so what genre?

message 1207: by Karen (new)

Karen (readingaway84) | 2519 comments Mod
Yes and I have actually written "scenes" that are in my head for a set of characters, but it takes A LOT of time in energy into writing and I doubt I'd ever finish. I just write when something pops into my head and won't leave, it is sort of therapeutic for me to get it out on paper and out of my head. I'd classify it as YA/NA . I read something that Colleen Hoover posted not to long ago about the fact that she let her teaching license lapse, and the she's not upset about it one bit, because she's making money doing something she loves. I don't think that writing could be a full time job for me. Reading could be though....

TTPBM: Favorite NAME of a character??? A name that kind of stuck with you?

Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn I was going to read it, but the movie came out before I did. Once I saw the movie I was fine with not reading the book.

TTPBM: A book you read then saw the movie adaptation and was really happy with it?

Shelly Crane
L.A. Fiore
Jennifer Lane

TTPBM: What is the longest series of books you've ever read?

message 1228: by Karen (new)

Karen (readingaway84) | 2519 comments Mod
That would have to be Abbi Glines's Rosemary Beach series! It's still ongoing! The Keatyn Chronicles by Jillian Dodd is a pretty long series too! Both are great in my opinion!

TTPBM: What is the book with the lowest average rating that you have read?

message 1229: by Chris (last edited Sep 14, 2015 09:28AM) (new)

The book with highest ratings that I have read is: Crashed (Driven, #3) by K. Bromberg , with a rating of 4.59, but it is 3rd in a series. Which is important to note, because only people who like the series would continue to read the series. The highest rated stand-alone or first in a series that I have read is Bright Side (Bright Side, #1) by Kim Holden at 4.53

TTPBM: Same, What's the highest rated book that you have read?

message 1231: by Chris (new)

TTPBM: Do you talk to real life friends about books as much as you do to us on goodreads? I know I don't...unless you count my hubby who has to listen by default...love him!

message 1236: by Erika (new)

Erika | 9482 comments No, I have like one friend and we barely talk she's not as dedicated as we are. I don't know what I would do if I couldn't chat with you all.
