2012 October Pick It For Me! Challenge
Finished Divide & Conquer a couple days ago and *sigh*... it was so damn good Katie. Those men and their chemistry together is off the charts. I can't even form coherent thoughts about it. When I try to all I come up with is *sigh* and *swoon*. So sweet and sexy, but to end with that cliffhanger? I'm about to say screw all my other challenges! I need to pick up Armed & Dangerous!!
Lol! I'm glad you liked it, Breann...but was there ever any doubt??? I'm chomping at the bit to read Stars and Stripes!
We were missing only one recs - for Nairabell. Gea did the re-picks for her. :) Now we are at 100%.Ty wrote: "does this mean we're at 100%?!"

KarenH,I finished
and I really enjoyed it. A sweet, sexy friends-to-lovers story- that Blake was HOT! I can't believe it was on my tbr for over a year! Thanks for the push to read it. I will definitely be continuing the series.I hope to get to a few more on the list during the month. If you would like to read Shattered Glass with me later in the month just let me know :)
Dee wrote: "*dork hat off now"But it's cute, I like your dork hat!!
I was able to handle day one, so I'm gonna go back in for more! It doesn't hurt that the story is very compelling.
Hey Rena! (wow, that's weird saying that!)
I'm so glad you recommended me Stealing Parker! I am for sure going to love it!

Penney, I finished Vlad's book.
was GREAT! I actually liked the heroine better than Vlad. I cannot wait to read their next book in the spring. Frankie kicks ass! Thank you for the push to read this.

Glad you liked it, Fran - it sat on my TBR for a long time before I got around to reading it, too.
I'd love to read Shattered Glass with you - my reading schedule is pretty flexible this month, so as long as I have a few days' notice to finish up what I'm reading, I can fit it in whenever is convenient for you. Just let me know when, and I'll be there! :)
I finished reading
. I really liked the unique worldbuilding but maybe Kate is not my favorite heroine. Good, entertaining book, 3 stars.

Rachel, I have just finished Dying for Dinner, and now I want to read the rest of the series right away. Thanks for the nudge to get back to this series!
What Ty said. The series only gets better. You have to continue!Skandia wrote: "I finished reading

I have finished one of my picks,
. Although I enjoyed it, I think the love triangle aspect of the YA genre is overdone. It will be interesting to see how it's resolved in the next installment (I can hazard a wild guess!).The two books in this series also have made me consider giving The Mortal Instruments series another chance. I read the first book and found it lacking, but perhaps the series gets better?
I finished Lover Awakened and i gave it 3 stars just to not get stoned by J.R Ward and the book fans but i really didn't like the book at all . Believe me i like me some bad boy , tortured hero just like the next girl , but that was extreme . I didn't like all the attitude , the pity party and all the crap excuses ,i was tortured more reading this book , i think this was my last BDB book ever . SORRY :(
I finished my second pick of the month You Slay Me and enjoyed it very much (5 stars from me) will be continuing with the series. Thanks for the great pick Lethallovely!
Hey, Lexa,I finished reading Mr. Perfect last night, and enjoyed it a lot! I realized once I got into it that I had read it years ago, but didn't remember anything about it ahead of time, only recognized it as I read it so it was almost like reading it for the first time :) Thanks for the recommendation!
Just finished my first PIFM this month, the buddy read with Karen - The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie. Loved it so much, I immediately started with the sequel Lady Isabella's Scandalous Marriage. Thanks to Karen for picking it!done:

Lacy ,
Am done with Gabriel's Inferno. It is an ok book but a bit too slow and too sweet for my taste.
Am looking forward to reading The Hunger Games next though.

Hey Nancy,I just finished the Wolf and the Dove and really enjoyed it. In the beginning I did not think I would get over all the rapes that occurred but despite it all the Wolf grew on me. I gave it 4 stars.
Thank you for the pick! I am going to try to read a few more before the month is over.
I finished my second pick, A Wallflower Christmas, today, and loved it as much as I did the rest of the series. Thanks for the great picks this month, Lexa - I'm planning on reading at least one more, and possibly as many as three, depending on how the month goes!
OK I finished my first pick, Playing to Win! IT. WAS. HOT! A great addition to the Play by Play series!Starting my second pick today,Creed, and so very excited to finally get to read it!

Glad you liked it, Ashley. I have read some of her other books, and have liked them, too.
Nancy,I just finished Catching Jordan. While I liked it, I wanted more. Like an epilogue with them all grown up and married. I gave it 3 stars.

I actually just requested a few of her other books from the library :) I love finding new authors.

"There is another one out by that same author, but I don't know if it is a sequel or not. I will have to look it up, because I really liked it, too. If you like that kind of story, try the trilogy that starts with Dairy Queen by Catherine Murdock. It is awesome! Plus, I got to meet the author, my students and I got to have breakfast with her, and she is fantastic.
I finished my first book for this challenge Water Bound by Christine Feehan. I really liked it. I am giving it four stars. I would like to read some more books in this series. I am going to read Visions of Heat next.
Hi Breann, I just finished Lady Isabella's Scandalous Marriage and I loved it! Thank you so much for the extra push to read it this month! I hope to get to one more of your picks this month too - I better get reading!

Nancy,Just read Tangled up in Love. It was good but a little bit too cheesy for me. I give it 3 stars. Sorry I dont have work today. Which explains all the book reads.

Yeah, I did overall. There were a few things that seemed off, but that is what sequels are for, right?

Thanks Gea, great picks! I will probably start with Colter's Woman because I have it on hand.
I am trying to hold out on Rapture until the paperback is released or I can get it from the library. I do love J.R. Ward though!
