Hi Tiffany, I finished Ordinary Angels yesterday and unfortunately it wasn't my cup of tea. Kindle freebies are very hit or miss, sometimes you luck out with a really great read, and sometimes you get a dud. This time it was a dud, but thanks for the push to get it off my TBR. :)

Nairabell,I finished Vampire Academy this morning. I am giving it 3.5 stars! It started out a little slow for me, but I got into it about a third of the way in. I really enjoyed the rest of it and I'm excited to read the second book in the series.
Thanks for the great rec. If I have time this month I will read more of them.
I hope you are enjoying your recs!

I finished Silver Borne by Patricia Briggs. It was pretty good, I'll definately be picking up the next book in the series next and reading that one! I liked the side story about Sam though!

I finished Cry Wolf and I enjoyed it. I think I prefer Mercy's series, but this was good too. Thanks for the rec.
Nikki wrote: "Just finished Creed!! OMG I loved it! :)"haha! I did too. Buddy read! 2nd PIFM this month. see your PMs on my thoughts. :)

Drew, real life gets in the way ALL the time LOL I'd be so happy if I could just read all the time :)
Hi Jodi,I just finished
and I loved it. I loved the first book on audio and loved this one on audio too! I like how not only did they add the new story in it they also continued on the story from the first book. I like how all the stories flow together. I hope they keep it up through the rest of the series.
Leslie --I just finished up Dragon Bound and have to say I liked it a lot! 4 stars. Thanks so much for introducing me to this great new (to me) series and author! The next one is already holding a spot on my to buy list. :)

I'm really glad you enjoyed it. Thinking back to when I read it I think I found it a little slow to get started too, but once it got going it was a ton of fun :)
Nairabell wrote: "I'm really glad you enjoyed it. Thinking back to when I read it I think I found it a little slow to get started too, but once it got going it was a ton of fun :)"I thought the exact same thing, but pushed through and really enjoyed that book, too!
Elishia--I finished
today. It was ok, not my ideal romance, but it was interesting to read something a bit different from my usual regency romances, and I was happy to get it off my TBR list. Thanks for the recommendation.
Hey Rena,
I finished Stealing Parker and it was fun! Not as good as Miranda Kenneally's debut novel, but I'm not sure if I've ever laughed that hard over a book! =)

Almost finished my second pick Visions of Heat by Nalini Singh and I am liking this one better than the first book in the Psy-Changeling series.
Kami wrote: "Almost finished my second pick Visions of Heat by Nalini Singh and I am liking this one better than the first book in the Psy-Changeling series."I think these get better the further you are in the series.
I finished Visions of Heat. Yeah, I definitely liked this one better than the first book. I will have to continue reading more into the series. I am giving this one four stars. I started my third pick Becoming Sage.
Penney, finished How to Tell a Lie
. Sorry, just didn't do it for me. I think the biggest problem was I didn't like the writing style. I loved the gaming aspect but it wasn't enough to carry it past the other pitfalls. 2 stars.
Katie wrote: "Leslie --I just finished up Dragon Bound and have to say I liked it a lot! 4 stars. Thanks so much for introducing me to this great new (to me) series and author! The next one is already holdi..."
So glad you liked it! I loved the next one as well (and the next and the next!) but it's a very different story. It's a great series!
I just finished reading The Perfect Play two words : verbal porn . And i liked it , i gave it 4 stars .

Andrew, tell me about this month is turning out to be very busy but I'm finding its easier to read once all my kids n hubby go to sleep at night. but I understand how you feel.. good luck. I m actually enjoying this challenege probably due to the fact that I'm new to this all. but last night I was able to read more in my book n I love it.
Thank you Skandia for recommending The Witness, nora roberts...to me... i thoroughly enjoyed...4*s....i had gotten away from reading NR as some of the book just weren't up to expectations from previous reads but this book was more like the NR I remember & love. Thank you again
Finished
and (of course) LOVED IT!! I've read really good books this month, but this one is my favorite so far. Thanks for the awesome rec, Dawn!

I have had my ups and downs with NR, too. The newest ones getting better again.
Jane (PS) wrote: "ShoSho wrote: "I just finished my first pick for the month. That was a continuation of a series you had previously enjoyed as I recall... Hope you enjoy it, ShoSho :)
Fran wrote: "Renee, the whole series is so good!"I can't wait to continue! I feel like the first book was just a glimpse into the whole story and I want it all! :-)
I finished my second pick from KarenH,
, which Jane gave me for my birthday :)I really enjoyed the crime, action aspect of the story. And the cast of characters kept me interested and entertained the entire time - Karen, thanks for reading it with me- I can't wait to chat about it with you!
Finished my first PIFM,
. I gave it 3.5 stars. I think I would have liked this better in print but had to get it in audiobook from the library. They didn't have the print copy. Still a good book and will probably read the next in the series.
Hi Gea!I just finished
yesterday and I loved it! I read pretty much the whole book in one session and will definitely be picking up the next two in the trilogy. Thanks for such a great rec and I'll check back if I manage to read something else (my copy of Silver Bells just arrived!) :)
Hi Pollyanna I just finished my pick
. I really enjoyed. Seems I've been having great luck with the freebies I have read. Thank you for the pick.
OCTOBER 2012 PICK IT FOR ME CHALLENGEAngels' Blood by Nalini Singh 10/13
Grimspace by Ann Aguirre 10/8
I finished my third pick Becoming sage and I really didn't like it at all. I am giving it two stars. I thought it was really boring and I had a hard time getting into it. I didn't like the characters and I thought it was really heavy handed and preachy towards the perfections of a polyamorous M/s alternative lifestyle. I wasn't buying it.

I'm glad you liked it, Fran - I did too! Can't wait to continue our discussion about it now that we've both finished :)
Daffodil:I finished
last night. Again another 5 star read from Ilona Andrews. Thanks for reminding me to continue reading this series.Started
. Hope I finish it before the month ends.
Andrew:I just finished
Candy Girl, and it was very cute. It's been on my TBR for 2.5 years, so I'm glad you pushed me to finally read it. I haven't read a lot of Eve Vaughn books, but I plan to read more. Thanks for the pick. :)
