I've heard good things, but I haven't heard anything from people who live in Seattle. The writeups were saying it was pretty critical of the city and its people. I'm hesitant to read it.

Meh - this one was OK for a Christmas story. It wasn't amazing or life changing, but it did distract me from being sick for a few hours...
It's not the end of the world yet! LOL

Task Completed!15.1 – Trying Something New: Once Upon a Day by Lisa Tucker, The End of You Life Book Club by Will Schwalbe
105/310
16/40
I really enjoyed both of these books soo much - Lisa Tucker made me feel like I was watching the story unfold in real time - as though I was reading about it in a gossip magazine instead of reading about it in a book. By the end of it, I was wishing for more of the story!
Will Schwalbe wrote a beautiful book about the last year and a half of his mother's life since being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. It is a lovely story about a wonderful woman and all she had accomplished in her life.
I feel that both of these books changed a small part of how I felt about things - one in a minor way (celebraties are people too - albeit rich people) and one in a major way (altruism is one of the best things that one can accomplish in life).
