I'm going to try to read through his books, although some of them will probably burn some brain cells. The book that made me fell in love with him is Gödel, Escher, Bach: An Eternal Golden Braid. I am currently reading Le Ton Beau De Marot: In Praise Of The Music Of Language, a charming book on the art of language translation using a poem by Clément Marot that he had challenged colleagues to translate.
