I was searching for a group in which I can fit it (in terms of genre of books read) and found this as the perfect one for me. As for favorite contemporary books - that's a bit hard 'cause I got a lot. I love the Ruby Oliver series as of the moment and Sarah Dessen is my favorite YA author. Hello! My name is Christina. I found this group as I was browsing through the community and it sounded like an active well-versed group. I am hoping to be active in some type of 'book club' just so I can get reading again (not like I ever really stopped).

I read a bit of everything, but I do like the story telling of YA. It has an easy flow that makes my imagination go wild, even though I am not particularly reading them right now. I have just revisited a bunch of classics from old British literature. Meaning, I might be a little rusty on the YA Contemporary front. But here is to jumping right in!

So glad you jumped right in Christina and welcome. One of the nice things about this group is that we all love YA Contemporary Romance, but we do all read other genres. Hey everyone I’m new to goodreads and stumbled upon this group and was so excited! I love romance and when I get to read them I always get so happy ❤️❤️
My all time favorite books is Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire and The Covenant series by Jennifer Armentrout (which I have three more books to read to complete)

If anyone has good recommendations that may be similar to these books please let me know! I would be happy to hear suggestions and I’m excited to read about yall!

Hi Yasamin and welcome to the group!!! I am a huge fan of The Convent series. It was soooo good and you're lucky you still have 3 books to read. You need to read Jennifer Armentrout's Lux series too! Hi Natasha!! Welcome to the group. We have weekly reads of YA Contemporary Romances. Members suggest the books they would like to read and we add them to our bookshelf. The threads are always open so you can comment anytime you read the book, it doesn't have to be the week it's featured.

That's great that you do some writing yourself. I love to read, but I don't have any writing skills in me. Though I wish I could write. Years ago I use to read a lot of fan fiction on the internet. There are a lot of talented writers out there that just write for a hobby.
