I just found out George R.R. Martin was on the NPR news quiz show, Wait Wait Don't Tell Me this week on their Not My Job segement, which I listen to on podcast every week. Here is the link to the podcast: http://www.npr.org/2012/09/15/1611428...

He was pretty entertaining. I finally got to listen to the episode, almost a week late...
I didn't know something so funny was on NPR! They've got a new podcast subscriber. The taxidermy "story" in particular had me cracking up bad.
The interview with Martin was pretty good too. I like the football bet and reference.

Was good episode. I liked his response to the question about "fans armed with swords"... something like, "Well, if they're the branded swords I get a royalty from...." :-)
Someone I follow claims this book is the HBO version of Ender's Game: Blade of Tyshalle (Overworld #2)
