The first one is my author site & the second one is directly connected to my current trilogy & contains "extras" like maps, documents, trailers, etc., so it's a little more "fun".

Loving the new group, Mike. Nice work.
I review debut authors on my blog. I am on Facebook and Twitter too. I am also working on my debut novel. I write customer service articles for the Examiner. I do have a backlog on the queue now. Any new material would take from 2-4 months to be reviewed. I hope to catch up shortly and narrow that down a bit. http://rebeccavance.com

Spooky is good, especially at this time of year. Your website is set up well, and easily accessible. It all loads up quickly on my computer.
PublishMyself.net is a resource for indie authors and people that are interested in new voices. There is an author forum section for book promos and for "meet the author". There are also reader forums where you may connect with Kindle users. A link or signature is allowed. Don't go crazy with self promo.
You can also use the Contact form to contact the website publisher about quality guest posts for authors and readers.

I'll put you down as a definite 'reader plugs the author slot' candidate then, shall I?

Ali, your site is lovely. Loads quickly, doesn't have irritating fonts or color combinations. All huge pluses for me. I realize light font on a dark background is trendy, same as flashy icons but they tend to distract me enough to make me leave the site.

If interested, let me know so I can add you to my queue asap! Thanks!! :)
It is paranoia, Ali - I looked very briefly yesterday and felt the little green-eyed monster wake up. I'll be checking it out properly when I have a little more time and can do it justice. There seems a great deal there that will interest me.

I do adjust my site from time to time (have added a silly short story as well as the blogging) but I don't dare go to Pinterest until all the dogs are in and I'm done writing...I can get lost there so easily, searching out images to share
