As far as team captain goes, I was captain last round and would gladly be captain again. I really enjoyed doing it. I'm super organized and am pretty much on Goodreads all day long (even though I'm not supposed to be).
Some things about the number 17 that we might be able to use in our team name...
* 17 is the 7th prime number.
* 17 is the sum of the first four primes
* 17 is the least random number, according to the Hackers' Jargon File. This is supposedly because in a study where respondents were asked to choose a random number from 1 to 20, 17 was the most common choice.
* In the United States, the age at which one may watch, rent, or purchase R-rated movies without parental consent
* The title of Seventeen, a magazine. (Oh I loved Seventeen magazine when I was younger...all those hot guys...)
* The number of syllables in a haiku (5+7+5).
* In the Nordic countries the seventeenth day of the year is considered the heart and/or the back of winter
* A slang term in the medical field for a psychiatric patient (we are all kinda crazy right...for books anyway lol)

I won't say good morning because I'm from south-eastern Europe, so here the sunset in progress. :)
This is my first Bingo game, so tell me if I do anything wrong and I will probably ask some stupid questions. o:)

My only idea for team name is 'the last, but not the least' (because we are the team with biggest number). Not very original.
I tried reading at wiki about 17 but the only thing that was interesting to me was: A slang term in the medical field for a psychiatric patient LOL
BTW Thanks for the friend request Paris. :)

Book Crazy
Reading Madhouse
Or we can do something completely unrelated and think of some S words and do an alliteration.
Savvy Seventeen
Sassy Seventeen
Sexy Seventeen
Saucy Seventeen
Speedy Seventeen
Schemin' Seventeen
Or some unrelated to our team number...(these don't have to be alliterations, I just can't seem to stop with them right now lol)
Series Sirens
Reading Rebels
Novel Ninjas

Anita Blake 17th - Skin Trade
Piers Anthony - Harpy Thyme
Lyndsay Sands - The Lady is a Vamp
Buffy - Return of Chaos
Happy for you to be team leader Paris.

That's one thing I love about Bingo, there are so many people in different places around the world. I'm in Seattle, Washington.
And there are no such thing as stupid questions. Ask away. I'm happy to answer any question you have and explain anything that doesn't make sense.

Paris, you have my vote as captain since you seem very organized and I know how much important that is because I'm captain for the CCC's Bookshelf Battle Team Challenge. I got a good feeling about this "Bingo" and I hope everyone will have a lot of fun."
From what I've heard the Bingo games are similar so you should be able to jump right into this one. Please don't hesitate to ask questions if you have them. I have a good feeling about this round too. Team 17 FTW!!!

Hi Caroline!
I like that idea too. We could also use Smokin' Seventeen which is the 17th book Stephanie Plum series.

Anita Blake 17th - Skin Trade
Piers Anthony - Harpy Thyme
Lyndsay Sands - The Lady is a Vamp
Buffy - Return of Chaos"
Nice idea. :)
I tried to play with names of novels in Stephanie Plum series:
Seventeen to Get Deadly
Seventeen to Score
Hot Seventeen
Seventeen on Top
Lean Mean Seventeen
Fearless Seventeen
Finger Lickin' Seventeen
Sizzling Seventeen
Smokin' Seventeen
Explosive Seventeen
Notorious Seventeen
Although I still like 'Novel Ninjas' the best. :)
BTW It seems that in all excitement I forgot to write it, but Paris has my vote too. :D

Oh, BTW...I changed my name from Jennifer to JenniJenni. Too many Jennifers out there.

Serene Seventeen
Sadistic Seventeen
Salacious Seventeen
Sardonic Seventeen
Seismic Seventeen
Serial Seventeen
Supersonic Seventeen
Supernatural Seventeen
Synergistic Seventeen

We've got some really great ideas for team names. I'm trying to figure out a way to narrow them down. I've compiled a list of suggestions so far. Does anyone have any others? Maybe we'll stop taking suggestions sometime tomorrow (Thursday, the 13th) and then everyone vote for their favorite (or top two) and then from there we can vote to narrow it down to our final name.
Or if anyone has a better idea I'm all ears.

To get free space credit, each team member must pick a book from one of these three options:
** Please keep in mind that all books chosen during the game must be a minimum of 200 pages and graphic novels are not allowed.
(1) An SOS Book of the Month: Any month while the game is in play
OR
(2) A book off of any of the group's new release thread folder or the group's new release thread archive folder: Any book listed on one of the new release threads; no matter the date of release
OR
(3) A book off of the group's bookshelf: Any shelf or tag; No date restriction - books added at anytime may be chosen
Be sure to post on your team's thread: which book you chose for FREE SPACE credit, which of the three options above you used to pick your book, your rating and your review once you've read it.
Once all members of each team have posted the above information, your team will get "a stamp" in the FREE SPACE. :D
Members don't have to pick and read a book right away, they can, but it's not required. This is not a team read, each member chooses their own book TBR for their team's free space credit. You can choose which book to read and when to read it, but no team will get free space credit until all members have read, rated & reviewed a book chosen from one those options.

Jenni, I was just scrolling through and thought *light bulb* you've changed your name, then I read on. LOL. CUTE!!

Absolutely. You can change your mind as many times as you need to. I've already changed what I'm gonna read for my free space book 5 times. Last round I went through the first three chapters of three (or was it four?) different angel books before deciding which one to read.

Dragana, last round was my first and it was much easier than I thought it would be. The girls on my team were awesome and answered any and all questions while not making me feel stupid. That being said, we were all BSB virgins at one time, so no question is a stupid one. Try to remember this is for fun. :)
You guys can call me whatever you want. I changed it because there are a couple of Jennifers participating.
Thanks for stepping up, Paris! You ROCK!
Hi, Sandra!!!

Yay! Glad to hear it. Thank you for clearing that up Paris.
I usually try to read the whole book but sometimes it happens that I give up after 10-20% if I don't like it until then.

Dragana, last round was my first and it was much easier than I thought it would be. The girls on ..."
Hello Jenni, thank you for your kind words and encouragement.
When I wrote 'stupid question', I meant that more as a joke, not that I really feel stupid asking them. ;)
I am sorry, English is not my native language so there will be probably be times like this with literal translation. In my language, 'stupid question' in slang is something similar to 'rhetorical question'. It's usually used when you ask something that is so obvious that reply is not needed. I hope I am explaining that right. :)

Dragana, last round was my first and it was much easier than I thought it woul..."
You explained it perfectly! :)

Thanks!
My top two names from the list are Novel Ninjas and Lean Mean Seventeen.

I hate to pick a name without Sallie's input, but I'd like to have a team name before the first shelf is called. I think I'll give her until 2 pm her time to post her top two favorite names. If we don't hear from her, then I'll post what we have so far and we can start voting.

So we have two options. We can either vote one last time on the 6 names that were picked as favorites. Or we could vote between the two that got the most votes. Which would you prefer?
Here is the list of the top six favorites. The two that got the most votes are Novel Ninjas and Lean Mean Seventeen (both had 3 mentions)
