I found this on my bookshelf today which means I have not read it. What book are y'all on maybe I can catch up prior to the group read.

We're starting Existence this week and in October we will be reading the full Hush Hush series as The fourth and Final one Fianle will be being realeased on The 23rd of October, I think..

Hey all! Yes I finished exsistence but I have been on a business trip and unable to log in like I normally do. October sounds good for the hush hush series. I have not read any so it will be a first read for me. You are really going to like the next hallows book, can't wait to start chatting about it.

It's good, really really good. I know there's something that ivy doesn't want Rachel to find out and a massive reason why she was so afraid to let her take this run, I'm wondering if It's Trent or possibly the pizza bloke she more afraid of?!

Headed to the beach today and taking this book with me. I can't believe how engrossed I am and it's a re-read for me. I actually think its better this time around!

I find Re-reading a favourite is always better second time around..

what is wrong with Nick? I like him... he's just saved her from ivy. its scary stuff all that vamp ownership stuff! but they're just at his place now ;)

well vamps are different in every book and thank god for that or I would've given up on this genre long back..In this world the vamps are more badass and are governed by their baser instincts more than anything else and there's a perfect distinction between living vamps and the dead ones kinda why Rachel is always so careful around ivy

yea she's a big magical klutz which would be hazardous in her line of work..
nick isn't bad...he's just got issues

I agree the dead vamps are scary in this series and I think this is pretty unique to this world atleast I have not come across it before. Kim Harrison does a great job a distinguishing between the two.

she definitely does a fab job, its the first book in this genre that I've read that you really fear even the nicest of vamps!

Nope not yet, youngest is off school poorly so I'm playing nurse lol.
At 65%, chapter 21 so not doing to bad. Shes just pulled Kalamacks Ley line, I love it when she uses magic! I'm quite liking the Demon as well, although I'm not sure how much I'll like him if he tries killing Rache...

I like bad boys it's the fact that he's a murderer! I can't get passed that and he put her in the Rat fights... But I like him :-/

The end was brilliant, fully loaded and the lead up to the third book has me hooked. She has money to buy more tricks now, a new magic wand and all that! What will happen to Nick? I have a feeling they won't last but does he get de-familiarised?? And how on earrth is she going to get ris of Big Al? She now has two demon scars!

Read all of them and love where Rachel starts and where Kim is taking her. The characters are dynamic and the plots are unpredictable which is more than I say for most UF books I read.

I've definitely been surprised by some of the events and the change in characters. I can't wait to see where Kim Takes Rachel next and especially with Trent!

AMAZON...I order books from there and get it the day the books releases...usually hard copies coz well I'm a magpie when it comes to books and anything pretty..
I use my ipad(kobo) for well questionable romance..:)
