It was recommended to me by a reviewer I contacted. :) as a good source of communicating with the goodreads community.
Saw 'free giveaway' on Goodreads and wasted no time hitting the link!
I think it was just exploring the groups but I have the world's worst memory. I would be crap answering police questions:) "Where were you on Tuesday June the whatever?" "I have no idea, sorry."
I don't believe anyone can remember what they were doing at 2pm on Saturday May 5th without looking it up.

Can't remember.That probably isn't much help, but there you go.
Oh dear, we all seem to have terrible memories. Worrying, really, as writers are supposed to be acute observers of life...
The group I was in met in the local library. I just happened to see the notice when I was in there one day. It was nice to have real live human contact and encouragement. Most libraries have writers groups. I will be joining the one in the new town I just moved into.

You saw the notice in a local library about this group? Was it on a bulletin board?
An author (Ann Haines) whose book I reviewed invited me to the group some weeks ago. Now I can't remember if I ever properly introduced myself, since I only lurked here in the beginning, and only posted a couple of times... If I didn't, sorry, I'll have to remedy to that soon.
