As the moderator, I'm interested in finding out how you found out about our Authors/Readers group. Was it an invitation? A link on Goodreads? A link on a blog?

Please share your story!

And have fun checking out the books!

:)

-Vince

Nicole Yanski (nicoleyanksi) | 13 comments It was recommended to me by a reviewer I contacted. :) as a good source of communicating with the goodreads community.

A.L. Butcher (alb2012) | 848 comments I think it was just exploring the groups but I have the world's worst memory. I would be crap answering police questions:) "Where were you on Tuesday June the whatever?"
"I have no idea, sorry."

I don't believe anyone can remember what they were doing at 2pm on Saturday May 5th without looking it up.

That probably isn't much help, but there you go.

Jay Howard (jay_howard) | 87 comments Oh dear, we all seem to have terrible memories. Worrying, really, as writers are supposed to be acute observers of life...

The group I was in met in the local library. I just happened to see the notice when I was in there one day. It was nice to have real live human contact and encouragement. Most libraries have writers groups. I will be joining the one in the new town I just moved into.

Hi Peggy,

You saw the notice in a local library about this group? Was it on a bulletin board?

Yzabel Ginsberg (yzabelginsberg) | 262 comments An author (Ann Haines) whose book I reviewed invited me to the group some weeks ago. Now I can't remember if I ever properly introduced myself, since I only lurked here in the beginning, and only posted a couple of times... If I didn't, sorry, I'll have to remedy to that soon.
