From what I understand, this would be at least as useful as adding them for the Kindle editions.

Still most of my books on that list are only Kindle editions.
I'll try later with Spanish editions, thanks!

Bea wrote: "Bookworm, as a reader, I have noted that all Kindle books record in % read and not number of pages read, whereas ebooks record in pages. ..."Some more recent kindle and epub/pubit ebook formats now do have "real page numbers." On kindle, shows page numbers if real page numbers available; trickier for other ebook formats as may or may not say in book description on publisher/bookseller sites. Unless specifically stated that ebook format has real page numbers, goodreads ebook book data uses page numbers as assigned by publisher so % read and % chapter metadata still what applies.
Alright, so I just added all the titles of the chapters and their associated page numbers for Bossypants by Tina Fey, so that one is DONE.

I didn't have the default as well, but added all the chapters for The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo Did the Great Gatsby too. Unfortunately I can't add the introduction and the bibliography, since they are market with numbers such as V and XX.
The Great Gatsby
Edit: I think adding chapters is a great idea and would love to be available for all books, so I can start adding to the once I have.
Robin wrote: "When will more titles be posted? Or, when will "edit chapters" be added to more titles?"I so hope for that too!
I think it would be really helpful for a lot of books to have their chapter-data added, not only for the discussions, but also for general information, how a book orders its information etc.
What about if they're quoting characters? Can the character names now be added?I noticed that the most liked quote from a book I just read appears to be taken out of context with the opposite of the author's intention - being used as a maxim when it's actually spoken by an idiot with the intention of satirising or damning that opinion. But is not possibile to add chapter metadata in every book right? I want to add them in many italian first (and only) editions but I never found the link.

Only books on the list in the first post.
Only books on the list in the first post.

OK, thank you rivka!
Added chapters to Wuthering Heights, not the default edition, but this one.The chapters had no names, but the chapter numbering was in roman numerals. However I stuck with the default Goodreads order. Tell me if that was right?
A bit unclear on the instructions for I am new to the team and need a guiding hand. How do I know when a book is completed within the thread? I noticed the list and the editions that were not crossed out. Is Les Miserables still open? I would like to try this out, but I want to be certain I am on the correct editing page. How can I be of assistance?
Noticed that A Dance With Dragons hadn't yet been done, so just done that one... Not surprised, really, as it's a huuuuge book! Plus the link in the OP is wrong.

If there's no list then it hasn't yet been done.Adding chapters is easy - you specify the number of chapters, then add in the chapter titles and pages into the boxes (extended info in OP).
Added chapters to Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, but not the default. I did my first edition.
Stefani wrote: "I am working on Gone Girl right now, "Hey, I was adding chapters for my edition of Gone Girl and saw that the default edition has the chapters all jumbled up after chapter#50. Maybe someone else jumbled them up.
If you did the chapters for the default edition, maybe you should correct it.
Hrm... also note for the moderators - Last edit of the OP is March 2013 and many of the items listed either have the wrong link or are complete but the OP is not updated. Is this project still going?
