Kristine Cayne Hi Monica - You might want to look into the Blood and Honor series by Dana Delamar. It's also romantic suspense, but very gritty and very sexy. In the interests of full disclosure, I'll say that I do know this author personally. Check out her books, Revenge and Redemption. If you enjoyed, Sempre, I'm quite sure you'll enjoy her books too.

Thanks for recommending me, Kristine! That is so sweet of you. :)

Monica, you might also want to check out Maryse's Book Blog for recommendations, particularly her post on the bad boys of romance.

Melissa I just read the Devils Eyes and the Devils Revenge both are awsome more adult. A must read for sure if you like the whole mafia bad boy thing!

Melissa Jennifer Loren.

Ooh, thanks for the recommendations, Melissa. I'll have to add those to my reading list! :)

The Wife Reads Monica wrote: "This is one of my favorite books of all time! Anybody know any similar reads?

I have read Crow's Row, Crash, Rock On, and a couple others that reminded me of this."

Hi Monica you might like C.J. Roberts - Captive in the Dark and Seduced in the Dark. =)

Stephanie Rede Thanks for the recommendations. I cant seem to get Sempre out my head, it was beyond amazing! One of my all time favs haven't found anything close to it yet. Although I loved Captive and seduced in the dark. Very intense read. So I'll check those others out. I can't wait for the sequel and prequel to Sempre.

Charlotte I was affected the same way as you. I read it last month and I am still amazed by it. This rates as one of my TOP 10 best reads of all time.

Texas I couldnt get enuff of Sempre and do not usually re read a book as we have so many to read, but I did read the fan fiction version of this called Emancipation Proclamtion that this author wrote under a pen name..it was FANTASTIC!!! I highly recommend it as she takes you beyond the ending in Sempre.

Tempting! But I think I'm going to wait for the official sequel. I think it's coming out this year.

Jennifer Santana Guys I really liked vincent and havens relationship..I'm looking for a book where either the main male character like carmine or the main characters family like vincent dislikes the main girl character. The whole triangle thing with vincent, haven and carmine was interesting to me and different from books that I have read. I like that after everything that's happened and even though vincent was at times cruel towards haven, in the end he finally cares for her,it's like she's family now and I liked that! So does anyone know of a book similar to that description. I LOVE when characters are able to redeem themselves like vincent did so that's what I'm looking for.
